How do you cook your frozen vegetables?!
I want to start cooking frozen vegetables, but without an overabundance of fat and sodium!. How do you prepare yours!? I am mostly thinking like green beans and corn, but I'd love to hear other ideas!. Canned green beans are getting old and boring (not to mention the sodium content is very high)!.

I also like to microwave frozen vegetables!. Season them with dried or fresh herbs as desired!.
Another tasty way is to roast fresh or frozen vegetables!. Spray a jelly roll pan lightly with non stick cooking spray!. Place the veggies in a single layer and sprinkle lightly with olive oil!. Roast at 350-375 degrees till done!. You may add herbs while roasting!. If desired, add salt after roasting, not before!. My favorite is the mixed blend of vegetables with cauliflower, broccoli, zucchini, yellow squash and carrots all roasted together!. yum!!!! I get the mix in huge bags @ Costco!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

If you already have the frozen, NON SALTED veggies!. Put some herbs and spices on them and put them into a "tupperware" container, if you want you could poke 4 or 5 holes into it and use it for cooking the veggies only!. This goes in the microwave on regular heat for a certain amount of time!. It'l steam them and taste really good!. If you dont wanna do that, boil them,Www@FoodAQ@Com
I toss them in a wok/frying pan with just a little bit of olive oil!.
They come out crisp on the outside and moist on the inside, and you can always add whatever spices or sauces you want!.
For example, I'm making stir fry veggies tonight, so I'll cook them in a wok and add just a bit of Asian BBQ sauce to flavor them!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
