Answers:
It sounds pretty messed up sweetie!.
Take the meat out and cook it down in water till it shreds
And salvage whatever else is in it!.!.make Tacos of the meat! LOL unless you want to try cooking it like it is somemore w/ water!.!.!. IDK but that sukks!Www@FoodAQ@Com

add some beef broth!.

for my crock pot stew add together!.!.!.!.
2 cans beef broth
mix about 1/4 c flour thoroughly into some tomato sauce
browned meat
veggies, carrots, celery, peas, onions or whatever
salt, pepper, parsley, bay leaf, or other seasonings

I think that's everything, just add all together and put crock pot on low all day, or high for 4 hours!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

The tomato paste is to pince your mirepoix, this is where it went in a wierd direction!. This is not a classic step for stew, but reserved for braising!. Remove the meat and stew as per reciepe!. However you will not have that strong beef flavor that would released from your meats!. A demi or stock could help here!. also you spent money you didn't need to !. Stewing lends itself to lesser quality meats because it makes them become tender!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Make sure you have adjused the salt and pepper and acid!. If that all seems in balance add some soy sauce and worchertershire sauce for the umami - I never made stews with tomato so this is purely a theoretical answer!. If that doesn't work try canned green chilis!.

Good luck!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Can you post the whole recipe!? It could have been **** from the start anyway and no fault of yours!. I would recommend removing the meat from the sauce and eating it on buttered bread as a sandwich (with only the info you gave)!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Throw it on some toasted break with motzerella cheese, basil, and garlic!. You got some tasty pizzas!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
