*Strawberry-Banana Topping
1 (10 ounce) package frozen strawberries, thawed
1 tablespoon cornstarch
1 banana, sliced
Drain strawberries, reserving liquid!. Add enough water to reserved liquid to measure 1 1/2 cups; gradually add to cornstarch in saucepan, stirring until well blended!. Bring to boil over medium heat, stirring constantly!. Boil for 1 minute!. Stir in fruit!.Serve with pancakes!.
*Fruit Sauce
1 pint raspberries
1 to 2 tablespoons confectioners' sugar
1 tablespoon raspberry or strawberry preserves
1 teaspoon balsamic vinegar, lemon juice or framboise liqueur
make the sauce by puréeing raspberries with powdered sugar, preserves and vinegar (or lemon juice or framboise liqueur)!.
Serve cool fruit sauce with the hot crepes, and if desired, top with a scoop of frozen yogurt or ice cream for a delicious contrast!.
*Fruit Topping
2 waffles or 4 pancakes
2 tablespoons apple butter
2 tablespoons plain nonfat yogurt
6 slices of canned peaches, chopped into chunks (use the side of a spoon)
Mix together the apple butter, yogurt, and peach chunks!. Serve the fruit-yogurt mixture over warm pancakes
*CHERRY SAUCE:
2/3 cup boiling water
1 pound sweet cherries, pitted
1/4 cup sugar
In 2-qt!. saucepan over medium heat, in boiling water, heat cherries to boiling!. Reduce heat to low!. Cover and simmer 5 minutes or till tender!. During last minutes of cooking, add sugar!. (Can also be served over waffles or pancakes)!.

If your using crepes filled with apples-a light caramel syrup!. It just depends on what you put in them!. What kind of pancakes!? Plain, blueberry, etc!? I love the strawberry and blueberry syrups!. Karo brand syrups have a couple of alternatives!. Molasses is an alternative too and comes in different styles!. Just experement to see which syrup types you like with different types of pancakes and or crepes!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
Regular ol' pancakes I just go with lots and lots of butter between them and maple syrup!. Crepes!.!.!.for a quick snack just spread grape jelly and roll them up or heat up orange marmalade mixed with a dash of cinnamon and pour over them!. Those are in the list of my childhood comfort foods!. When I want to get fancy I make crepes this way!.!.!.

Cover and heat on low, stir occasionally to mix well!. Heat until sugar is disolved and peaches are tender!. In another pot put a bag of frozed raspberries with a 1/4 cup of sugar and a heaping tablespoon of corn starch and a pat of butter!. Heat the same way as the peaches but stir more often and bring to a light boil and then stir while boiling until thickened!. Remove from heat and keep covered!.
Take a package of cream cheese and cut slices about 1/4 inch thick!. Take a crepe and put a layer of the peach mixture in the center and roll up!. Put on a plate and put 3 to 4 slices of cream cheese on top and then drizzle the raspberry sauce over the top!. Put as much as you like!.
