My favorite has always been the Woman's Day Encyclopedia of Cookery - 23 volumes! You can find any cooking term or ingredient alphabetically!.The recipes range from healthy to positively sinful! It has pictures of ingredients, like cheeses and apples, and the best use for each type!. The set is 30 years old, they have been scorched in a fire, they are falling apart and I still love them and use them!. The recipes are easy to follow and many have visual directions!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
