Question: Need good recepie for lunch/snack sharing at school!?
My daughter is to bring something to share with her classmates for lunch!. This could be anything from sandwiches to snacks!. I need something simple enough to make with her yet really cool!. Nothing with peanuts since they are not allowed to bring to school!. Thank you!!Www@FoodAQ@Com

Fruit Salad and Cinnamon Chips:

INGREDIENTS
2 kiwis, peeled and diced
2 Golden Delicious apples - peeled, cored and diced
8 ounces raspberries
1 pound strawberries
2 tablespoons white sugar
1 tablespoon brown sugar
3 tablespoons fruit preserves, any flavor

10 (10 inch) flour tortillas
butter flavored cooking spray
2 cups cinnamon sugar


DIRECTIONS
In a large bowl, thoroughly mix kiwis, Golden Delicious apples, raspberries, strawberries, white sugar, brown sugar and fruit preserves!. Cover and chill in the refrigerator at least 15 minutes!.
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C)!.
Coat one side of each flour tortilla with butter flavored cooking spray!. Cut into wedges and arrange in a single layer on a large baking sheet!. Sprinkle wedges with desired amount of cinnamon sugar!. Spray again with cooking spray!.
Bake in the preheated oven 8 to 10 minutes!. Repeat with any remaining tortilla wedges!. Allow to cool approximately 15 minutes!. Serve with chilled fruit mixture!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

You can make homemade pizzas made with regular bread,tomato sauce(or if you want to make it different then make it with alfredo pasta sauce,tastes really good and not many kids like tomato sauce) and cheese,let her add the toppings she wants and make mini pizzas!.Put it in the microwave 30-40 seconds and you have a great pizza!

mix cream cheese and a package of taco seasoning together

smear cream cheese on tortilla and add some ham to it and lettuce, tomato, avocado!.!.whatever you choose and some grated cheddar cheese!.!.roll into a cigar shape and cut into pinwheels!.

snacks for this would be celery and carrot sticks or cucumber slices and pieces of broccoli with a nice half sour cream and cream cheese ranch dipWww@FoodAQ@Com

what about mini pizzas, made with english muffins, tomato sauce and other toppings!? Or mini pigs in a blanket!. Nachos too - you can melt down the cheese and add some Rotel tomatoes and some ground sausage!. You can keep that warm in a crockpot and then just buy a big bag of nacho chips!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Make a fruit salad!

Buy already-chopped fruit from your local store, dump it all into a pretty bowl, POUR LEMON JUICE OVER THE TOP!. It is SO good for fruit salad!. Then, top it off with sliced almonds or red cherries or raisins or all 3!. Colorful sprinkles will also dress it up =)Www@FoodAQ@Com
