Weird pizza topping ideas - pureed pineapple and ham to facilitate easier egg-topping.?!
Now, many of us will be familiar with the Hawaiian - where I come from, it's ham and pineapple, the kiddies' option, etc!. I was thinking of jazzing this up with the alla Bismark option - a fried egg on top!. BUT I'm thinking that the fried egg might not settle so well on top of all those lumpy toppings!. So how do you think the flavour/texture will be affected if I first WHIZ the pineapple and ham (or even just puree the pineapple and leave the ham in sheets) first, before spreading on the pizza, topping with cheese and finishing off with a fried egg!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

The italians use spinich as a base when putting egg on a pizza, the pizza is called a florentina, Pizza Express sell it!. I think they make the pizza with the toppings then crack the egg in the middle and back in the oven, highly recommended apparantly!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
just cut into smaller pieces!. Pureed items can make people think of baby food no matter how great it tastes!.

If you think of it!.!.!.any topping is possible since a pizza crust is merely a bread canvass with which you can create whatever pleases you!.

Perhaps using crushed pineapple, instead of chunks; and not puree!. I dunno!.!.!.I think if it's too smooth, your egg is still gonna slide off too easily!. Too much puree will start to taste like babyfood!. My layer suggestion: 1-ham sheets, 2-crushed pineapple, 3-fried egg!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
