Answers:
HARD MARGARINE

the kind that comes in premeasured and wrapped squares squares!.!.!.not in a plastic tub (like Becel or Blue Bonnet or Parkay!.!.!.they have more water in them which will affect the baking)

baking margarine cannot be spread on toast

you could use butter-same consistency and has a ton more flavour!Www@FoodAQ@Com

It depends on what your cooking!. A simple hard margarine would do the trick but if your looking for a buttery taste, deep colour and thick texture!.!.!. a good butter that is ideal for baking will work!. I live in the UK and am passionate about cooking but have never used or even heard of baking margarine!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

I live in the UK and have never heard of baking margarine either!. They mean hard margarine but any recipe is better with butter!. Aren't hard margarines supposed to bad for us now!?Www@FoodAQ@Com
