How do you cook a chicken to taste as juicy as it does in a restaurant?!

Question: How do you cook a chicken to taste as juicy as it does in a restaurant!?
I love to cook and love the juicy and tender chicken dinners I get at restaurants like Longhorn, etc!. But how do you do that at home!? What do they do to make it so good!? I haven't worked in a restaurant like that before and would like to know!. Thank you in advance!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Answers:
They will marinate there chicken!. And since they need to cook them quickly in the restaurant setting, they will boil it before hand - like that morning!. That puts juice/water in it!. Then it'll get stored in the freezer/fridge for later until they need it!.

You can make it a better way that's not quick!. Any way you cook it, make sure you marinate it for several hours!. And when you do cook it, cook it in its own juices, or baste the juices on it every few minutes as it cooks - whether baked or grilled!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Personally I like to Brine mine, BUt you rpolly don't have time for that :)

Another thing I do is slather on mayo (yes mayo) under the skin, Salt and pepper it etc!. Can't taste the mayoat all once it's cooked, and it makes for a juicy chicken!. Another thing you can do is wrap the bird in foil and take it off at the last 10 minutes!. OR put it in a dutch oven with a lid! Try not to take the lid off till the last 10-15 minutes!. Ummm!.!.!.!.if you don't have either!.!.!.baste baste baste! :)

also make sure you're buying "fryer" not a "roaster!."

Try this:
Either whole chicken, or pieces!. Place with skin in a foil pan (one of those disposable ones)!. Drissle olive oil on the chicken (don't drench it!.!.!.just enough for a good rub) sprinkle salt, pepper, and paprika on top!. Rub the chicken on top and under skin and marinate overnight in fridge covered!. The next day, pop into the oven just as is still covered with foil at 350 degrees for about 2 hours!.!.!.open the foil cover and baste the chicken!. Return for one more hour, with the last 20 minutes uncovered to get some nice color!. If you like garlic, I add some cloves into the pan before going into the oven!. My family loves this chicken and all my guests question how I make it!. Enjoy!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

I ALWAYS cook my chicken on the stove in a little bit of olive oil and salt and peppered on both sides!. I pride myself on my chicken because it always turns out perfectly and not overcooked and dry!. My method is low and slow!.!.!.!.keep your stove at a medium-low heat and just watch it and flip it when one side gets a golden color!. I also cut little slits in the chicken to make sure it cooks all the way through!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Well, I'm going to say DO try a roaster INSTEAD of a fryer!. They have more flavor and you'll need to cook it a little longer, but I think you may be very pleased with the results!

I'm not familiar with Longhorn, so can't say what to do beyond that!.!.!.but try roasting a roaster!Www@FoodAQ@Com

I would grease it with butter flavored shortening or butter/margarine, then if you have one of those oven bags, place it in there with bell peppers, onion, and garlic!. That's how I get my chicken moist and juicy!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

well you first cook the chicken to 330 degrees for about 45 min!. than marinated with your favorite sauce, than put back in oven for 5 min!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Its the marinade, i always marinade for 6-24 hours or longer!.

And its what they cook it on!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
