How do I skin store bought chicken?!
I have done a search on YA and everyone says it tastes like cardboard!. Obviously they have no clue how to cook it skinless anymore than I know how to skin the peices, as my mom ALWAYS skinned the chicken before battering and frying!. She even one several contests with it!. I can assure you it was the juciest, tastiest most tender chicken EVER!. I have the recipe, but can't find anything skinned in the stores except breasts!. I also have no clue how to cut up a whole chicken and don't even want to know, lol!. I just want to know how to skin the chicken- the packages of fryer parts you can get at any grocery!.
Can anyone explain how to skin checken!? I'd ask my mom, but sadly, she has gone to a better place!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

As suggested, just pull it off!. Use a tea towel if you have a problem gripping it!. It comes off easier than you think!. I always skin chicken!. Can't remember the last time I ate the skin!. It takes marinade and seasoning so much better skinned as the flavor goes into the meat not the skin!. You are right too, it's never dry or anything!. One thing I can suggest is that you put it directly in a plastic shopping bag and throw it right out!. Don't put it in you kitchen trash as it will smell bad really quick!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
basically, you just find or make an opening with a knife, and then pull the skin back, if you are having alot of trouble, ask the butcher in the supermarket to do it for you,in the supermarkets where i live, you can buy most chicken parts already skinned!.when you batter and fry, try dreadging the parts in flour first, then i make a combo of 1 cup of buttermilk, mixed with 1 beaten egg, then back into a flour mixture or breadcrumbs, then into a very hot skillet of oil!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
Don't forget the seasoning helps the taste !.
After skinning the chicken pieces, start the frying !.
Dip in egg, flour egg again then seasoned breadcrumbs or season the frying chicken with salt, pepper, garlic powder and onion powder!. Even a little ginger can make the chicken taste delicious!. There are recipes to follow on the Internet that might suit you!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

That strange because the skin is where all the flavor is!.You have to seperate the skin from the meat by making a small slit in a piece and then start seperating it away from the meat!. You have to really pull it and then you'll see it start to come away from the meat!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
Best way is to take a paper towel, grab the skin with it and just pull it off, the paper towel will help you hold onto it without it slipping!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
It's best if the chicken is partially frozen!. That way the piece is hard and not so floppy and the separation seems to come easier!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
you just pull the skin up and cut it off with a knife----not difficult at allWww@FoodAQ@Com
