Double Brie Burger

Brie lovers will flip for this super cheesy burger!. Brie is added to the ground meat mixture, grilled and then topped with another slice of brie!. Serve with crusty bread or baguettes and a tomato, red onion and avocado salad!.

Ingredients:
1 pound ground sirloin or your favorite ground beef
2 ounces brie, chopped
Salt and freshly ground black pepper
8 thin slices Brie
Directions:
Mix the ground meat, chopped Brie and salt and pepper!. Using your hands, form 4 large burgers, making sure that the brie is on the inside of the burger!.
Preheat a charcoal or gas grill until red hot!. Grill the burgers about 4 minutes!. Gently flip the burger and grill another 3 to 4 minutes, depending on whether you like your burger rare or medium rare!. Top each burger with 2 slices of brie and cook another minute or until the cheese is just melted!. Makes 4 large burgers!.

STUFFED BACON-CHEDDAR BBQ BURGER
Ingredients:

1 lb!. ground chuck

1 lb!. ground round

2 tsp!. black pepper, freshly ground

2 tbsp!. garlic salt

8 oz!. block of sharp cheddar cheese, coarsely shredded

1 lb!. bacon, cooked and crumbled
2 medium Vidalia onions, sliced

1 tbsp!. butter

1 bottle of sweet barbecue sauce (of your choice)

Hamburger buns

Lettuce (optional)

Tomato (optional)

1/2 cup Onions

1/4 cup Barbecue sauce for basting

Directions:

Combine ground round, ground chuck, salt and pepper in a large bowl!. In another bowl, combine the coarsely shredded sharp cheddar and cooked bacon pieces!. Let bacon and cheese mixture sit at room temperature for about 20 minutes to get soft!. Then, shape mixture into balls (for however many burgers you would like to make)!.

Form 2 patties of meat and place one cheese/bacon ball in between them!. Pinch the sides together to seal in cheese ball!. Gently press formed patty, to spread out cheese ball!. Continue until all patties are formed!.

Cook burgers on grill over medium flame for about 7 minutes on each side!. While burgers are grilling, slice sweet Vidalia onions and saute them in a skillet with 1 tablespoon of butter!. Once onions become translucent (about 4 minutes), add some sweet barbecue sauce!.

Flip burgers, and baste the cooked side of the patties with the same sweet barbecue sauce used in the onions!. After about 7 minutes longer, the burger should be done (these are big thick burgers and may take longer to grill to your liking)!. Baste again with sweet barbecue sauce before removing from grill!. Butter hamburger buns and place on top rack of grill for several minutes, until toasted!.

To build burger, take toasted bun, add patty, and top with smothered barbecue onions!. You can add tomato or lettuce, if you'd like, but the flavors are great without them!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

I get raves on my burgers all the time!. Here is what I follow for four people:

1 pound lean beef
1 clove garlic
1/2 small onion
1 stalk celery
1 packet Lipton Onion Mix or Beefy Onion Mix
salt and pepper to taste
fresh herbs as you like

In a medium heated saute pan, place a layer of PAM or olive oil!. Mince garlic, add garlic to the pan!. Chop the onion and celery to your liking - I like mine minced but chopped or diced is fine; add to the garlic; season with salt and pepper; cook down approx!. 5 min until transulcent!. Set aside!.

Add meat, seasoning, and S/P into a mixing bowl!. Mix (**Some people add bread crumbs and egg - you can if you want - remember that the egg is there to hold things together - it might be best if you scramble before adding to save you hands a little work - add the crumbs as needed to make the mixture not runny)!. Then add the veggie that you sauteed!. Place into patties!.

You can George Forman grill, saute on the stove, or cook in the oven!!

Grill: spray grill with nonstick spray!. Heat on both sides until cooked to your liking!. Med!. rare will be approx!. 4 min each side!.

Saute on Stove: heat a non-stick pan to med-hi!. Place burgers in the pan!. Each side will need 4 min to be med!. rare!.

Cook in Oven: get a baking sheet, heat oven to 350!. Place foil over the sheet, spray with nonstick spray; place them on the sheet!. Cook for 10-20 min, checking often!.

Topping options:
If you want to do simple, do one cheese - if you are having burgers and someone is particular about the cheese it isnt your problem!.
You could saute up mushrooms for a side if you liked; consider adding carmelized onions
-Get sliced mushrooms from the store - if you want to save a little money, you can get them whole, wash them, and then slice them!. Get a pan that is on med-hi heat; put PAM and/or olive oil (1 tbs) in the pan; once it is hot, add the mushrooms; salt with a dash (sprinkle) of salt; stir as needed; once the mushrooms appear soft, taste and season as necessary!. Set aside!.
-Take an onion; slice it down; I prefer red onions but choose one you like!. Get a pan that is on med-hi heat; put PAM and/or olive oil (1 tbs) in the pan; once it is hot, add the onion; salt with a dash (sprinkle) of salt; stir as needed; once the onions turn a brownish color and appear soft, taste and season as necessary!. Set aside!.
-The mushrooms and onion can be done in the same pan
The below are to your liking, I usually just go the dressings and forget about the toppings (LTO)
Keptchup, Mustard, Mayo, Relish
Lettuce, Tomato, OnionWww@FoodAQ@Com

Simplicity is key!. To your ground beef JUST add salt pepper and a little soy sauce! That's all you need, you want to taste the beef not all the other seasonings!. Trust me, you'll really be impressed and also make sure the meat is room temp before you cook it!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Take ground beef and place in a large mixing bowl!. Add one egg, 1 cup bread crumbs, some of lawrys season salt, and chopped onion!. Shape into patties, and grill or fry!Www@FoodAQ@Com

I put cherries in my meat, and it is sooo good! It makes it sweet, but still "meaty"Www@FoodAQ@Com
