Answers:
The absolute best corn on the cob I ever had involved a simple grilling of the cobs on the BBQ until nicely coloured!. Then pour about a tablespoon of Chat Masala (an Indian spice mixture, pretty much black in colour) on a plate, rub the cut side of half a lime in the Masala to coat it thoroughly and then rub the spice-coated lime on the corn while gently squeezing the lime at the same time!. You get an amazingly flavourful combination of sweet corn, tart lime and earthy spices, but totally fat-free as there is no butter or oil involved!. The chat masala can be hard to find, but it's worth the effort if you come across it in an Indian market!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Best way to cook corn on the cob:

Use large pot or dutch oven!. Put corn in pot and fill with water to cover corn!. Add a piece of the corn husk to the water and shake a small amount of sugar in the water!. Bring to a boil and cook about 10 minutes!. If too crispy cook additional 5 minutes!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

It might sound wierd but it really good!.
1) rub the corn down with extra virgin olive oil!.
2) fire up your grill
3) let the corn turn slightly brown on all side!. make sure you have some kind of handle in the corn to turn it!.
4) spread some mayonaise on it real thin cover the whole corn!.
5) then sprinkle either chili powder or parmesian cheese on it!.
I know it sounds like ewww but it really is good!. Try it!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Put it in a pan or large pot large enough to hold the cobs!. If you are only doing 2 or 3 you can use a frying pan!. Cover with cold water!. Do not add salt, it makes the corn tough!. Bring the water to a boil!. Once it is boiling, cook for about 5 minutes and it's done!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Most people overcook it--here is the RIGHT way:

Bring a pot of water to a rolling boil, drop the fresh corn into it, cover, and cook for FIVE MINUTES!! Any longer and kernels become tough!. Remove immediately!.

And NEVER add salt or sugar to the water!.
Enjoy!Www@FoodAQ@Com

Well two options,
1) On the grill!.
Season with salt, pepper, and fresh herbs, I like either rosemary or thyme, and put a pat or two of unsalted butter
Double wrap in heavy duty aluminum foil!. Place on grill on low heat for approx 20 minutes!. Remove from heat and allow to steam in foil for another 20 minutes!.

2) in oven!.

Is it fresh or frozen!? Boil for 10 to 12 min!. If it is fresh you can peel the shuck back, take the hair off, rub butter and seasoning on it, pull the shuck back on it and place on the BBQ pit for awhile!. The shuck will get brown, but the corn will be good!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

The same day that it's picked!.!.!.!. 75% of its sugar will turn to starch within 24 hours!. You can shuck it and boil it in some water for a bit, with salt!.!.!.!.!.

How do you have time to actually cook!? You ask at least 20 questions every day!Www@FoodAQ@Com

If boil in water!. Don't put it in until the water boils!. Then put the corn in let boil for 4 min then turn fire off!. Let corn sit there until served!. You can add a tsp of sugar to your water!. & A little butter!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

I figured someone would cover this but no one has mentioned this easy trick

put corn in a large pot of water bring to a boil and when the corn starts spinning - its doneWww@FoodAQ@Com

You can boil it in a pot of water for 10 - 12 mins or you can grill it on a BBQ !.!.!.!.!.!. that is my favorite way !.!.!.!.!.!.!. = )Www@FoodAQ@Com

Best way is to steam it for about 6 minutes!.!.!.it will be perfect!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
