Okay, for some reason i am craving salsa and i wanted to know a really good one!

INGREDIENTS
1 large onion, diced
10 large tomatoes, peeled and chopped
2 large green bell peppers, diced
1 large red bell pepper, diced
2 Anaheim chile peppers, diced
2 banana peppers, diced
4 fresh jalapeno peppers, diced
1 (28 ounce) can tomato sauce
1 (6 ounce) can tomato paste
1/4 cup white vinegar
1 (28 ounce) can diced tomatoes
2 tablespoons brown sugar
2 tablespoons chili powder
1 1/2 teaspoons Italian seasoning
2 teaspoons salt
2 tablespoons cornstarch
1/4 cup water


DIRECTIONS
In a large pot, mix the onion, tomatoes, green bell peppers, red bell pepper, Anaheim chile peppers, banana peppers, and jalapeno peppers!. Stir in the tomato sauce, tomato paste, vinegar, diced tomatoes, and brown sugar!. Season with chili powder, Italian seasoning, and salt!. Bring to a boil, reduce heat to low, and simmer 1 hour!.
Mix the cornstarch and water, and stir into the salsa to thicken!. Transfer salsa to sterilized jars, leaving 1/2 inch headroom, and seal!. Process jars in a boiling water bath 15 minutes!. Store unsealed jars in the refrigerator!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Tomato Salsa Recipe
Prep & Cooking: 15 mts,
baking time: 15 mts
Cuisine: Mexican

Ingredients:
6-7 bright red tomatoes
2 big capsicum, cut into 4 longitudinal pieces
4-5 green chillis
4-5 cloves garlic with skin
1 onion finely chopped
olive oil to coat the vegetables
juice of half a lemon
salt and pepper to taste
1/2 tsp sugar
fresh parsley, chopped

1 Pre-heat oven!. Coat tomatoes, capsicum, green chillis and garlic with olive oil such that they are oiled all over!. Arrange in a greased shallow baking tray and keep and broil 10-12 mts!. Remove and cool!.
2 Discard the skin of garlic, the tomato cores and skin!. Combine the garlic, tomatoes, capsicum and green chillis in a bowl and using a hand blender, puree roughly!. Alternately, run in a mixer grinder for a few seconds!. Be careful not to make a smooth paste of it!. It should be chunky and coarse!.
3 Add chopped onions, salt, pepper, sugar and fresh parsley to the coarse paste and your salsa is ready!. Serve with nachos, tacos and quesadillas!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Here's one I make all the time!. It's simple, easy and cheap to make!.
Onions
tomatoes
jalapenos
vinager
salt
limes

Chop each of them up to taste!. If you like more onions than jalapenos put more onions!. You like it spicy add more jalapenos!. I put 3 cups of onions,2 jalapenos, 1 tomatoe, about 3 table spoons of vingar and a pinch of salt and sqeeze a half of lime into it!. If you like you can always add more salt (itll bring out the flavor more) but not to much!. Enjoy :)Www@FoodAQ@Com

I can of fire roasted tomatoes (whatever form) one roasted jalopeno pepper (de seeded) 2 tsp!. salt 1 tsp pepper, 1/4 cup white onion, 2 tsp lime zest or juice or both, 3 tbls chopped cilantro, put it all in a blender or food processor and process until you like the consistency!.!.!.let it hang out in the refrigerator for a couple hours to let the flavors hang out!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

1 16oz can of tomatoes (drained)
2-3 jalapeno peppers
1/4 teaspoon of salt
1/4 teaspoon garlic ( or one clove )
a little origano
1 teaspoon of olive oil
This ingredients you put in a blender and then you add
1/2 cup of diced red onion
2 teaspoons of chopped cilantro

Don't know what kind you are in the mood for but this is always a big hit!.

Diced mango, diced red onion, chopped cilantro, diced jalapeno, squeeze of lime and some diced tomatoes!. Allow to marinate together for at least an hour in the fridge before serving!. Yum!!Www@FoodAQ@Com
