Answers:
Use lava rock!. Lots of it!. Start your grill on high to preheat the lava rock then you can back it off a bit!. Practice a little you'll get it!.
You can use a spray bottle to shoot down the flames!. also leaving the lid closed helps!.

Try the lava rock!. It's at most hardware stores and walmart near the grill supplies!.

For one you should be cutting off as much fat as you can prior to cooking!.
Two you should broil the meat in the oven until it is about 1/4 or 1/2 done!.
Meanwhile, get the grill hot!.
then throw the meat on the grill to complete!.!.!.!.

Ours has a tray underneath to collect fat drips and we always put some water in this which seems to work (not when grilling lamb chops though) best to cut the fat off as well!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
