This is my favorite recipe!. It comes out fork tender!.
COUNTRY-STYLE POT ROAST
3-to 3-1/2- lb!. boneless beef pot roast (rump, chuck or round)
1 envelope Lipton? Recipe Secrets? Onion Soup Mix
2-1/2 cups water
4 medium all-purpose potatoes (about 2 lbs!.), cut into 1-inch pieces
4 carrots, sliced
2 to 4 Tbsp!. all-purpose flour
1!. In Dutch oven or 6-quart saucepot, brown roast over medium-high heat!. Add Lipton? Recipe Secrets? Onion Soup Mix blended with 2 cups water!. Bring to a boil over high heat!. Reduce heat to low and simmer covered, turning roast occasionally, 2 hours!.
2!. Add vegetables and cook an additional 30 minutes or until vegetables and roast are tender; remove roast and vegetables!.
3!. For gravy, blend remaining 1/2 cup water with flour; stir into Dutch oven!. Bring to a boil over high heat!. Reduce heat to low and simmer uncovered, stirring constantly, until thickened, about 5 minutes!.
SLOW COOKER METHOD: In slow cooker, add vegetables, then roast!. Add Soup Mix blended with 2 cups water!. Cook covered on LOW 8 to 10 hours or HIGH 4 to 6 hours or until roast is tender!. Remove roast and vegetables to serving platter!. Blend remaining 1/2 cup water with flour and stir into juices in slow cooker!. Cook covered on HIGH 15 minutes or until thickened!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

2 cl Garlic, minced
1/2 ts Dried basil
1 tb Dried parsley flakes
1/2 ts Pepper
2 Carrots, sliced
1 Whole Onion, studded with
2 whole cloves
1 cn Tomato puree (15 oz!.)
1/2 c Water or red wine
1/2 ts Beef bouillon granules
Cooked egg noodles
Instructions
Rub roast with salt!. In a dutch oven, brown roast in oil!. Add all remaining ingredients except noodles!. Bring to a boil; reduce heat and simmer, covered, about 2-3 hours or until meat is tender!. Discard onion!. Remove roast; cut into slices!. Serve over noodles with gravyWww@FoodAQ@Com

i put my roast in the slow cooker on low with some balsamic vinegar, beef stock, onion, garlic, and worcestershire sauce!. cook on low for 4 hours, or high for 2!. add peeled, cut up potatoes and baby carrots!. cook for another 4 hours on low or 2 on high or until everything is tender!.
i made this up, so i dont really know the measurments!. i add different amounts everytime and it always turns out yummy!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

1 pkg!. dry Ranch dressing mix
1 pkg!. dry Italian dressing mix
1 pkg!. dry Brown Gravy mix
1 cup water
Put beef in pot!.
Mix together all the dry mixes…!.then add water …pour over meat and cover & cook on high 4-6 hours!.
Until meat is tender!.
The first time I made it I didn’t have the Italian Dressing mix…!.so I added a pkg!. of Onion Soup Mix…!.I have to say I liked that better!.
If you use more water you might want to add more Brown Gravy mix…!.to make a thicker sauce!. Was gonna add

combine roast, new potatoes,carrots,onions,garlic,Carmina,s!.!.!. in a large pan!. Mix brown gravy mix with water and make a rue!.!.!.!.pour the rue in the pot add half a stick of butter, put a piece of aluminum foil on top to help hold heat!.!.!.!.put in oven and slow cook at 250 for about five hours!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
Put meat, onions, garlic, salt, pepper, in a crock pot!. Cook about 8 hours on low, 6 on high!. Add carrots, mushrooms, and potatoes, cook till veggies are tender and enjoy!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
