So I really, really want nachos, but i need a half decent recipe, since mine always turn out like crap, I have the chips, some medium salsa, green peppers, and boca ground beef, help!?Www@FoodAQ@Com

Answers:
Okay!. put the chips on a rimmed baking sheet!. Then add your cooked crumbled boca with the peppers, put some grated cheese on it (longhorn or jack or a mixture of both are good), & slide the whole thing into the oven for 5-10 min!. at about 350, until it's all hot & the cheese is melted!. Put your salsa on when it comes out of the oven, & add guac or sour cream too if you want!. (This is making me very hungry!) Enjoy!.!.!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

When you have some more $ and time!.!.!.!.this is mine

2 cans black beans with juice
1 can rotel
i diced onion, green pepper, red pepper
1 tablespoon each, cumin, garlic powder, onion powder
salt and pepper
crushed red pepper flakes
2 tablespoons olive oil
1 taco seasoning packet if you want, about a cup of water or veggie broth
minced garlic

chips
pepper jack cheese
green olives
sliced avacados
onion slices
salsa
sour cream

In a large pot heat oil and add veggies saute for 10 minutes!.!.!.add all the rest of first group of foods and boil, then turn to a simmer and cook stirring often checking to see if you need to add more broth or water!.!.!.!.cook for about an hour

It will get to a thick consistancy!.

Top chips with chili and grated jack cheese and optional green olives and onion stips and avacado!.!.!.!.put into a preheated 500 degree oven and bake until cheese is melted and bubbly!.!.!.

serve with salsa and sour creamWww@FoodAQ@Com

Ok!. With what ingredients you have, it's still quite simple!. :)
You can place your chips in a baking dish!. Fry your ground beef in a pan with your salsa!. About 2 minutes before finishing, chop your green peppers and mix in with the beef mixture!. Once completely cooked (and make sure the beef is thoroughly cooked), place your beef mixture on top of the chips!. If you have cheese, use a grater and place some cheese on top, to your preferance!.
Take the dish and place in the oven on 350 degrees F, and bake until the cheese is melted!. When melted, take out of the oven, serve with some best friends and a great movie :) Enjoy!!

Another recipe that I dearly love:
Take your ground beef and fry with taco seasoning!. While that is cooking, mix together some cream cheese and sour cream!. Grate some cheddar cheese as well!.
PLace the sour cream and cream cheese mixture in the bottom of a baking dish!. Then place the beef mixture on top of that!. Top that with some salsa!. Cover with cheese!.
Place in the oven on 350 degrees F!. Bake until your cheese is completely melted!. Serve with chips! Enjoy :)Www@FoodAQ@Com

well to me i think you should put themin the microwave try about 15-25 sec, i wouldnt suggest doing it any other way besides microwae or in the oven!. for the oven watch it carefully and just when it starts to have al the cheese melt take it out!. the heat will continue to mest the cheese even though its not in the oven/microwave!. everything else your doing is great! becareful micro wave or oven cheese too long and it will be rubbery/plasticy!!

Hope this helps and nachos!.!. lol are YUMMI!!Www@FoodAQ@Com
