Make it the night before and cover it and leave it in your refrigerator !.!.!.!.!.!.!.!. lumps are just from the flour adhering to the other ingredients !.!.!.!.!.!.!. keeping it over night in the fridge will help eliminate most of the lumps !.!.!.!.!.!.!. if you want to make it the morning of, try to add the flour slowly and wisk it and mix it in as you add it !.!.!.!.!.!. = )Www@FoodAQ@Com

You should never mix pancake batter until it is smooth!. You should mix it just until incorperated!. If you must have it smooth make it the night before and let it sit in the fridge, covered 'til morning then give it a gentle stir!. Over mixed pancake batter results in tough and rubbery pancakes ,"not good eats", Alton Brown!. if the lumps are in the dry mix dont worry it wont harm anything but if it has to be without lumps just pour it through a sifter!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

That's normal!. It's the fat and dry ingredients adhering to each other!. When you make your pancakes most of the lumps will stir out!. It's normal though, to have a few lumps in pancake batter!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

lumps will always happen!. try mixing with a rubber spatula!. it will mix it and flatten the lumps so that it will get absorbed by liquid!. use half water for mixing and milk for flavor!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

u take the back of a spoon or something and then take a lump on the back of the spoon and flatten it against the sides of the bowl!.
the lumps are clumps of flour so you just have to squish'emWww@FoodAQ@Com

Use an electric mixer to help get the mixture more even and less lumpy!. Next time, remember to sift all dry ingredients before mixing!! =)
