Well, I was born in the mid 60's & my dad's side of the family grew up in the country so I can remember my papaw's favorite meal of fried frog legs & polk salad!. He would bring the frog legs in & mom would skin them, then dip into a mixture of eggs, then dredge in cornmeal!. She would fry them in the cast iron skillet with bacon!. In another skillet, she would sautee polk salad greens, chopped onions, garlic, & ham pieces!.!.!.!.!.!.Always served with homemade cornbread, pinto beans & buttermilke!.!.!.!.!.!.!.Yummy!!Www@FoodAQ@Com
