Question: Anybody have good cheese dip recipies!?
Im going to a party and I have to bring a cheese dip for chips!. Does anyone have a quick recipe(under 45 min)!?Www@FoodAQ@Com


Answers:
Velveeta cut into cubes
Can of Ro-Tel diced tomatoes and green chilies
Jimmy Dean Sausage ground up and browned
Add all together and melt!.

BLU CHEESE DIP

2 cups sour cream, 16 ounces
1 1/2 cups mayonnaise
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon white pepper
4 ounces crumbled blue cheese
PREPARATION:
Combine sour cream, mayonnaise, salt and white pepper; stir well!. Add blue cheese; stir gently!. Chill blue cheese dip for at least 1 hour!. Serve with assorted vegetables, crackers, or as a topping for baked potatoes!.



Ingredients1/2 cup finely chopped drained bottled roasted red peppers
2 fresh serrano chiles, minced (including seeds)
3 scallions, finely chopped
1 cup sour cream
1/2 cup crumbled cotija cheese or feta (2 1/2 oz)
1 teaspoon cumin seeds, toasted and finely ground in an electric coffee/spice grinder or with a mortar and pestle
1/4 teaspoon salt
1 large bag tortilla chips PreparationStir together all ingredients (except chips) and chill, covered, at least 2 hours for flavors to develop!. Bring to room temperature before serving!.
Preheat oven to 350°F!.

Spread tortilla chips in a large shallow baking pan and bake in middle of oven until warm, about 5 minutes!.

Serve chips with dip!.

Cooks' note:
? Dip can be chilled up to 1 day!.

BACON-BLU CHEESE DIP
Makes about 3 1/2 cups of blue cheese dip!.

Ingredients
1/2 cup sour cream
1 (4-ounce) package crumbled blue cheese
1 (3-ounce) package cream cheese, softened
1/8 teaspoon hot sauce
2 tablespoons diced onion
4 bacon slices, cooked and crumbled


Preparation
Process first 5 ingredients in a blender or food processor until smooth, stopping to scrape down sides!. Stir in half of bacon!. Cover and chill 2 hours!. Sprinkle with remaining bacon!. Serve with crackers, raw vegetables, or potato chips!.

Melt Velveeta and add a can of Ro-tel or Salsa!. TADA!

Basic Rotel Cheese Dip Recipe

Ingredients:

* 1 lb pasteurized process cheese (like Velveeta)
* 1 can diced Rotel tomatoes with chilies (10 oz)

Directions:

1!. Cut the cheese into small chunks and put in pot on top of stove!.
2!. Stir in Rotel tomatoes!.
3!. Cook over low heat until melted!.
4!. Serve with tortilla chips!.

Traditional Rotel dip can be made in the crock pot!. Follow the above directions, but put the cheese and tomatoes in a crock pot and heat over low for a three hours or until cheese is melted!. also, the dip can be made on the stove top and then kept warm in the crock pot!.

Sausage Rotel Cheese Dip Recipe

Ingredients:

* 1 lb cheese (Velveeta)
* 1 can Rotels
* ? lb sausage (cooked and crumbled fine)

Directions:

1!. Cook bulk breakfast sausage using a fork to crumble it fine as it’s cooking!.
2!. Drain fat off sausage meat!.
3!. Combine cheese, tomatoes, and sausage in pot on top of stove or in crock pot and heat until cheese is melted!.
4!. Stir well before, a few times during, and after melting cheese!.

Any bulk sausage is fine in this recipe, but a better grade of sausage means a better dip!. Look for sausage packed in paper and sold in a rectangle rather than the sausage in the plastic tubes!. Hot and spicy sausage is excellent in Rotel dip if family or guests like a little zip to the dip!.
Hamburger Rotel Cheese Dip Recipe

Instead of using sausage as in the above recipe, use hamburger!. Again, cook the hamburger first, crumble the meat fine and drain off the excess fat!.

Using hamburger will make a milder dip!. There are mild Rotel tomatoes as well as the regular and the hot!. For a very mild Rotel dip, go with mild Rotels and hamburger!.
Cream Cheese Rotel Dip Recipe

Ingredients:

* 1 pack cream cheese (8 oz)
* 1 can Rotel tomatoes
* ? pound meat – sausage or hamburger (optional)

Directions:

Cream Cheese Rotel Dip is made just as the Velveeta dips listed above!. Instead of using Velveeta, use cream cheese!. This makes a very rich and yummy dip!. It’s not as pretty as the Velveeta dip which is orange colored!. With cream cheese, the dip has kind of a gray color!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

BACON - HORSERADISH DIP

MIX TOGETHER THOROUGHLY:
1 16oz!. container sour cream
1 8oz!. container cream cheese
2 1/2 oz!. horseradish
3/4 - 1 cup real bacon bits
3/4 - 1 cup salad dressing
1/4 cup honey
sugar to taste

Serve with chip, crackers or veggies!.


BLACK OLIVE DIP

MIX THOROUGHLY:

1 small can chopped black olives
3oz!. cream cheese softened

Mix with enough Mayonnaise to desired consistency!.
Worcestershire sauce (optional)!.
Tabasco hot sauce, to taste!.

7-LAYER DIP

INGREDIENTS:

2 cans refried beans
1 small container salsa
1 bag shredded lettuce
24oz!. container sour cream
1 bunch of green onions, chopped
1 small canned sliced black olives
1 package shredded cheese

DIRECTIONS:

1!.) In a 9 x 13 pan, spread refried beans!.
2!.) Cover with salsa!.
3!.) Spread lettuce over salsa!.
4!.) Cover lettuce with sour cream (put heaping spoonfuls randomly on top of lettuce & carefully spread)!.
5!.) Sprinkle cheese on top of lettuce!.
6!.) Sprinkle onions over cheese
7!.) Top off with olives!.

Hint:

Add some Tabasco to refried beans, mix thoroughly!.
Sprinkle 1/2 cup real bacon bits on top!.


CHICKEN FAJITA DIP

MIX TOGETHER THOROUGHLY:

1 (10 3/4oz!.) can Cream of Chicken Soup
1/2 cup sour cream
3/4 cup salsa
2 cups colby/jack shredded cheese
Hint:
Can be served cold or warm!.
Can be doubled, tripled!.!.!.!.etc!.
Excellent for a large crowd

I really have no clue what the heck this is called,
but its reallllllly realllllllly good!.


Depending on how much you need, you can double, triple, etc the
recipe!.!.!.


What you need:

1 lb sausage (Regular or Medium is best)
1 can Rotelli tomatos and Chillies (Regular)
4 pks cream cheese

What to do:

Fry the sausage and drain!.
Then put the sausage, the rotelli and the cream cheese in a crock
pot!.
Stirring occassional, cook on high til cheese is melted and its good
and warm!.
When done, turn to lowest temp to keep it warm - stir occassionally!.








Velveeta Ranch Dip

1 pound Velveeta cheese, cut up
1 (8 ounce) container sour cream
1 cup Ranch dressing

Microwave Velveeta in 1 1/2-quart microwavable bowl on HIGH 4 minutes or until melted, stirring after 2 minutes!.
Stir in sour cream and dressing!. Microwave 1 minute!.
Serve hot with tortilla chips or cut-up vegetables!.

Makes 3 cups!.

Cranberry Sauce Spread
Ingredients:
1 8oz!. Pkg!. cream cheese, softened
2 Tbls!. mayonnaise
? - ? cup chopped pecans
1 16oz!. Can jelled Cranberry sauce
Instructions:
Mix all ingredients…except nuts…!.until well blended!. Add nuts and mix!.
Spread on crackers or celery or etc!.

BUFFALO WING DIP

1 small bottle Frank's Red Hot Sauce
1 jar of blue cheese dressing
2 cups shredded cooked chicken
1 cup shredded cheddar cheese

combine hot sauce and blue cheese and pour into deep baking dish!. add shredded chicken and mix thoroughly!. bake at 450°F until bubbling, add Cheddar cheese until lightly browned!.
Serve warm with sliced baguette or French bread, crackers, or celery sticks!.
