Here are some recipes:

Baked Potato Soup I:
12 slices bacon (leave out for softer)
2/3 cup margarine
2/3 cup all-purpose flour
7 cups milk
4 large baked potatoes, peeled and cubed
4 green onions, chopped
1 1/4 cups shredded Cheddar cheese
1 cup sour cream
1 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon ground black pepper

DIRECTIONS
Place bacon in a large, deep skillet!. Cook over medium heat until browned!. Drain, crumble, and set aside!.
In a stock pot or Dutch oven, melt the margarine over medium heat!. Whisk in flour until smooth!. Gradually stir in milk, whisking constantly until thickened!. Stir in potatoes and onions!. Bring to a boil, stirring frequently!.
Reduce heat, and simmer 10 minutes!. Mix in bacon, cheese, sour cream, salt, and pepper!. Continue cooking, stirring frequently, until cheese is melted!.


Jean's Homemade Chicken Noodle Soup

INGREDIENTS
2 (14 ounce) cans chicken broth
2 cups water
3 carrots, chopped
3 stalks celery, chopped
1 pinch ground black pepper
3 slices fresh ginger root
1 tablespoon vegetable oil
1/2 cup chopped cooked chicken breast meat
1/2 cup egg noodles

DIRECTIONS
In a large pot over medium heat combine the broth, water, carrots, celery and ground black pepper and allow to cook!. In a medium skillet over medium high heat, combine the ginger, oil and chicken!. Saute for about 5 minutes and remove the sliced ginger!.
Add the chicken to the broth mixture, bring to a boil and then add the egg noodles!. Continue to cook over medium heat for about 15 minutes until noodles and vegetables are tender!.

(FOr this recipe I would cook as normal and then strain the ingredients out, so you have mostly liquid, they will get more nutrients from it this way while be soft, you can make all sorts of soups the same way:french onion, split pea!.!.!.etc)

Classic Tapioca Pudding:

INGREDIENTS
3 cups whole milk
1/2 cup quick-cooking tapioca
1/2 cup white sugar
1/4 teaspoon salt
2 eggs, beaten
1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract

DIRECTIONS
Stir together the milk, tapioca, sugar, and salt in a medium saucepan!. Bring the mixture to a boil over medium heat, stirring constantly!. Reduce heat to low; cook and stir 5 minutes longer!.
Whisk 1 cup of the hot milk mixture into the beaten eggs, 2 tablespoons at a time until incorporated!. Stir the egg mixture back into the tapioca until well mixed!. Bring the pudding to a gentle simmer over medium-low heat; cook and stir 2 minutes longer until the pudding becomes thick enough to evenly coat the back of a metal spoon!. Remove from the heat and stir in the vanilla!. The pudding may be served hot or poured into serving dishes and refrigerated several hours until cold!.

All-Around Good Smoothie

INGREDIENTS
1/2 cup nonfat milk
1/2 cup fat-free plain yogurt
1/2 frozen banana, peeled and chopped
2 tablespoons powdered protein supplement
1 1/2 tablespoons flax seed
1 teaspoon honey
1/2 cup frozen strawberries

DIRECTIONS
In a blender, blend the milk, yogurt, banana, protein supplement, flax seed, honey, and strawberries until smooth!.

*Guacamole salad (avocado, lime juice, salt, mild salsa, finely chopped spinach, finely chopped tomato, finely chopped sprouts)
*Cooked apples (chop 2-3 apples, toss in a pan with a splash of orange juice, cinnamon, cardamom, and a pinch of salt, and cook until soft enough to eat)
*Yogurt
