Never thought about it but you have a good point!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Food has been "genetically modified" since King Tut ruled Egypt, silly goose! ALL farming involves genetically modifying plants & animals to maximize yield!. Did you think that somewhere there were "wild cows" that gave milk every day!? Or "wild chickens" that laid half-dozen eggs a week!?

Selective breeding, crop management, and animal husbandry are ALL forms of "genetic modification"; to honestly believe there is a difference between manipulating genes in a petri dish or by multiple managed matings is to show the most profound lack of understanding!.!.!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

No, it all has to do with fuel prices!. Everything on your grocery shelves comes by either truck, train, boat or plane and they all take fuel to get it here!. Not to mention the fuel used for farm equipment!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
