Hi! Just need to know can a pregnant lady take half boiled egg? Thanks?!
Answers:
What do you mean by "half boiled egg"!? Do you mean a whole boiled egg, cut in half!? I guess that you don't, and that what you actually mean is a soft-boiled egg, or one that's only half cooked, and where the yolk is still runny!.
In which case, the answer is no!. Not recommended for pregnant women because any bacteria such as salmonella will not have been killed!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

You know, your question does not make any sense whatsoever!. Where do you want to take this half boiled egg to and why!?
If you are trying to ask how do you eat half of a boiled egg that is a different question altogether and the answer to that is to cut it in half and eat only half of it!. If you want to eat a partially boiled egg, ie a soft boiled egg, you can eat it on toast!. Eggs are good for pregnant women, just be sure that they are cooked!.

Salmonella prevalence in eggs is actually quite low these days (roughly !.005%)!. With contemporary cleaning and refrigeration techniques, the chances of salmonella infection growing in any of your fresh eggs are incredibly low so long as you keep your eggs refrigerated!. This assumes you're cooking the egg at home; if you plan to consume a partially cooked egg in a diner or other restaurant, I would strongly caution against it!. And obviously, if you are incredibly concerned about the minute chance that your egg might contain salmonella, you should cook it all the way through!. I'm sure the FDA would encourage you to do just that!.
The best solution, of course, if you must have an undercooked egg and want to completely eliminate the risk of salmonella, is to purchase pasteurized eggs, which have been gently heated over a long period of time to kill any particularly unpleasant pathogens that might be lurking inside!. They are not cooked (the most you'll notice is a slightly cloudy white in the raw form) and do not taste detectably different to most palates!. You'll only earn the derision of a small minority of foodies!. ;)Www@FoodAQ@Com
