There are no notable health benefits to plain white flour bagels!. Multi grain is better, sprouted grain is best!. My Dad started eating the sprouted grain bagels when he was diagnosed with diabetes!. He doesn't have any problems with his sugar spiking when he eats this type of bagel!. also, for a topping, try sugar-free jellies or jams or hummus, salsa and cheese on top of a bagel roasted in the oven is awesome!Www@FoodAQ@Com

It entirely depends on your current fitness/health level!.!.!. bagels are high in carbohydrates!. If you already have enough carbs in your daily diet (like your eat a lot of pasta, rice, breads, bananas, even beer) then it is a good choice to moderate your bagel intake!. But i personally prefer a nice bagel in the morning to give me a carb boost for all my work!.

wheat bagels are because its healthy grain!. White bagels are bleached flour and really arent you best choice!. It also depends on what you have on the bagel!. if its plain then yeah of couse its fine!. but if you have it loaded with cream cheese then id say no!. hope i helped !Www@FoodAQ@Com

If they are multigrain!. also, bagels have a huge amount of calories, around 500 calories per bagel and that's before you slather on the butter or cream cheese!. I love them but only indulge every so often after I found that out!Www@FoodAQ@Com
