Answers:
No, No, No, No, No, No!!!! If that's all you have , then you obviously have no choice!. But believe you me: the difference between oil and canola oil, particulalrly when it comes to salads, is like the difference between Angelina Jolie and Angela Merkel, or between George Clooney and Mr Bean, or between a good Rioja wine and a cheap wine spritzer, or between !.!.!. well, you get the point!. And msot importantly, olive oil is sooooo much healthier!. Last but not leaast, for a good tomatoe salad try "ensalada pipirrana"!.
Hopefuly my answer didn't come too late and I saved you from using canola on a salad!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

you won't like it
i personally will not use canola oil
it stands for "canadian oil company" and it is made from the rapeseed plant!.
the same one used to make mustard gas in the great wars!.
it is not a normal human food!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Not just as good - you will miss the olive flavor!. Maybe compensate with a little dried herb like oregano or thyme!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
It won't have as much flavor, if you like the olive oil flavor!. But it'll do in a pinch!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
It will give you the texture, but not the flavor!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
if you use a wine vinegar and the canola, it wont be the same but close!.!.!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
