Answers:
Cold mashed potato
1 onion - diced
corned beef
butter/marg/oil for frying
salt and pepper

Mix together potato and corned beef, gently fry onion in the fat of your choice and mix with corned beef, seasoning & pots!. Reheat fat - very hot and add mix, press down firmly and fry 2/3 mins before turning, this will give it a nice crust, fry till well heated through!.
It will not be as nice as your wife's but it will get better with practice!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Corned beef pot pie!. Get those refrigerated ready to bake biscuits and a premade pie crust (not sweetened!) from the grocery store!. Cook your corned beef hash and fill the pie (mush it down a little to make it compact)!. You'll need a packet of beef gravy as well!. Prepare the beef gravy and pour 3/4 of it on top!. Put the biscuits on top, and put it in the oven for the time that it says for the pie!. Make sure that your biscuits are golden before taking them out!. Cut a piece out and pour the remainder gravy on top, however much you want to use!. When I do this, I often will put ketchup on the corned beef, fry up hasbrowns till they are yellow and slightly crispy, put it on top of the ketchup, then put the biscuits on!. Instead of the gravy I will make a white gravy from heavy cream, a tsp of cornstarch, let it thicken slightly, add salt and pepper to taste, and a kick of hot sauce, and then pour that on top!. It should be slightly runny because you want it to pour through the top of the pie and run slightly through the corned beef hash!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Boil the potatoes in salted water!. Drain and mash using plenty of butter and season well with pepper!. You can add a little milk to get a smooth consistency!. Use about 1/2 can of corned beef for every pound of spuds!. Cut the corned beef into smallish chunks and mix into the spuds with a fork!. You can use a potato masher again for a smoother texture!. Either serve straight away or pop under the grill till the potato is brown and crunchy on top!. Nice served with onion gravy!!!Www@FoodAQ@Com
