Question: Does any one have a good teriyaki sauce recipe!?!?
I like the kind that are made with pine apple, I would like to make my own, one that i can help me marinade!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Teriyaki Sauce

2 tablespoons cornstarch
1/3 cup soy sauce
1/4 cup granulated sugar
1 garlic clove, minced
2 teaspoons minced fresh ginger
1/4 cup dry white wine (optional)
2 cups beef broth (or 2 1/4 if not using wine)

1!. In a small saucepan, stir together cornstarch, soy sauce, sugar, garlic and ginger!. Stir in wine, if desired, and broth!.
2!. Cook over medium heat, stirring, until thickened!.

Teriyaki Sauce Recipe


* 1/2 cup soy sauce
* 1/2 cup *mirin (sweet rice wine) (soy sauce : mirin = 1:1)
* 2 tbsp sugar


Pour all ingredients in a pan!. Stir the mixture well!. Put the pan on low heat and simmer for a couple of minutes!. Remove from the heat and cool the mixture!. Store the sauce in a clean bottle in the fridge!.

*You can substitute mirin with sake and sugar (sake:sugar = 3:1) ** Adjust the amount of sugar, depending on your preference!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Ingredients
1 (14 ounce) can pineapple chunk, with no sugar added juice
6 garlic clove, chopped
1 inch ginger, peeled and chopped
1/2 cup soy sauce
2 tablespoons mirin
3 dashes sesame oil
1 teaspoon crushed red chili pepper (probably closer to 1 1/2)
1/2 cup brown sugar


Directions
1) Mix all ingredients in a heavy sauce pan!.
2) Simmer for 5 minutes!.
3) While simmering use the immersion blender to blend!. It thickens up without any thickening agent!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

1/2 cup molasses
1 cup pineapple juice
1/2 soy sauce
1/4 cup brown sugar
