*Chicken stir fry

3 tbsp sunflower oil
4 spring onions, sliced
2!.4 cm (1 in) piece of fresh root ginger, peeled and chopped
3 carrots, thinly sliced
1 red pepper, cored, seeded and cut into thin strips
1 yellow pepper, cored seeded, and cut into thin strips
4 tbsp dark soy sauce 2 tbsp dry sherry mixed with 2 tsp cornflour
4 skinless, boneless chicken breasts, cut into 1 cm (? in) strips
125 ml (4 fl oz) water

Heat 1 tbsp of the oil in a wok or large frying pan, add the spring onions and ginger, and stir fry for 1 minute!.
Heat the remaining oil, add the carrots and peppers, and stir fry over a high heat for 2-3 minutes
Add the measured water and continue stir frying for 1-2 minutes until the liquid boils and thickens slightly!. Serve at once!.

*Healthy Orange Chicken Stir Fry

2 Tbsp Olive oil
1 large onion thinly sliced
1 lb!. Chicken breast, cubed
1 tbsp cornstarch
1 tsp curry powder
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 tsp ground ginger
1/2 tsp cumin
2 cups orange juice
1 orange-colored bell pepper, chopped
1 can sliced water chestnuts
3 cups of broccoli florets
Zest of one orange
Rice or noodles, if desired

Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat!. Add olive oil and onions!. Lightly saute onions then add the chicken breast cubes!. Cook until chicken is browned!. Stir cornstarch, curry powder, salt, ginger, and cumin into the chicken mixture!. Add orange juice; cook until thickened and bubbly!. Add vegetables!. Cook until veggies are tender-crisp!. Add orange zest!. Stir thoroughly!. Serve over rice or noodles, if desired!.
#Notes: May need to adjust stovetop temp, if cooking too hot!.

*SWEET STIR FRY

half pound chicken
1 tablespoon ginger
1 tablespoon paprika
1 tablespoon minced garlic
1 tablespoon peanut oil
4 tablespoons sweet and sour sauce
1 16 oz of frozen rice stir fry

Season thawed chicken on both sides using 1 tablespoon of ginger, 1 tablespoon paprika, and 1 tablespoon of minced garlic!.
Grill seasoned chicken for 8-9 minutes or until no longer pink!. Then, add 1 tablespoon of oil to a frying pan on medium heat!.
Slowly add the frozen rice to the pan!. Stir constantly for 5-8 minutes or until firm and tender!.
Cut up the grilled chicken into cubes, then add to the rice stir fry!. Slowly add 1 tablespoon at a time to the mixture and cook for 2 minutes!.

*Easy -N- Fast Shrimp and Vegetable Stir-Fry

3 T!. cornstarch
1 (14 oz!.) can chicken broth
1 T!. soy sauce
1/2 t!. sesame oil, optional
2 T!. vegetable oil, divided
1 lb!. medium shrimp, peeled and deveined
4 C!. cut-up vegetables (thinly sliced carrots, green pepper strips, sliced green onions, snow peas, sliced water chestnuts, sliced pimientos, etc!.)
1/2 t!. ground ginger
1/4 t!. garlic powder or
2 garlic cloves, minced
4 C!. hot cooked rice

In a small bowl, mix cornstarch, broth, soy sauce and sesame oil if desired; set aside!. Heat 1 tablespoon vegetable oil in skillet!. Add shrimp and stir-fry until pink!. Remove shrimp from skillet; set aside!. Add remaining vegetable oil to skillet!.
Add vegetables, ginger and garlic and stir-fry until crisp-tender!. Stir cornstarch mixture; add to skillet!. Cook until mixture boils and thickens, stirring constantly!. Return shrimp to skillet and heat through!. Serve over rice!.

Beef Vegetable Stir-Fry
Ingredients:
1 pound ground round
1 medium onion, sliced
2 garlic cloves, minced
1 green pepper, julienned
4 ounces fresh mushrooms, sliced
1 package (16 ounces) frozen stir-fry vegetable blend, thawed
1 can (14 ounces) bean sprouts, drained
1 can (8 ounces) sliced water chestnuts, drained
1 cup reduced-sodium beef broth
2 tablespoons cornstarch
1/4 cup reduced-sodium soy sauce
3/4 teaspoon ground ginger
Directions:
In a large skillet, stir-fry meat until browned; drain!. Add onion and garlic; stir-fry 2 minutes!. Add green pepper, mushrooms, vegetables, sprouts and water chestnuts!. Stir-fry 3-4 minutes or until crisp-tender!. Combine broth, cornstarch, soy sauce and ginger; stir into skillet!. Bring to a boil; cook for 1 minute!. Yield: 8 servings!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

1/2 teaspoon minced ginger
1/4 teaspoon soy sauce
1/2 clove garlic, minced
3/8 pound salmon, skinned, boned and cut into 3/4" cubes
1 1/4 teaspoon oil
1/8 pound bean sprouts
1/8 pound snow peas
1/4 cup sliced green onions
1/4 red bell pepper cut into strips
1/8 teaspoon Asian sesame oil
1/16 teaspoon sugar

Directions:

In a medium bowl, combine two Tbsp of the oyster sauce with vinegar, ginger, soy sauce and one clove garlic!. Season with pepper, if desired!. Add fish, turning to coat!. Cover and refrigerate at least a half-hour!.

In a nonstick skillet or seasoned wok, heat two teaspoons of the oil over high heat!. Add remaining garlic, stir fry 30 seconds!. Add sprouts, peas, green onions and red pepper!. Stir-fry two minutes or until tender-crisp!. Stir in the remaining one tablespoon of oyster sauce, sesame oil, sugar and pepper!.

Eggs Foo Yung!.!.!.!.Crack 3 eggs in a bowl, beat well, add 1 can chow mein vegetables ( well drained), 1 Tbsp!. soy sauce, pinch of garlic and ground ginger, mix well!. Heat fry pan with salad oil, ladle mixture into pan similar to making pancakes, turn over!. When fully cooked, serve with an accompaning gravy (optional),made with beef stock and soy sauce, thickened with corn starch!.

Stir fry is about the most boring dish, if you are looking to be creative in the kitchen!. Boring is easy though, chopped pepers, onions, mushrooms, julienned meat and some garlic ginger paste and soy!. That's it!.

If you want to get more creative in the kitchen don't look to stir fry, or twist your stir fry with some Indian or Mexican seasonings!. Make a stir fry out of taco ingredients or curry ingredients!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

chop up the chicken or beef or the shrimp (well you dont need to chop up the shrimp)

now heat up the pan
add some oil
and once the pot is heated
add in the meat

once the meat is all cooked
add in whatever veggies you wish

one time I cut an eye roast into strips and used Old El Paso Fajita mix and just added green peppers and sweet onions - man was it good!. soft flour tortilla's, sour cream, salsa, some lettuce and shredded cheese!. Fabulous!Www@FoodAQ@Com
