Fancy up an Angel Food Cake?!
Ok, y'all! I love to cook, but I'm not much of a baker! lol! I'm wanting to make an angel food cake this weekend (and the cakes from a box - let's not get carried away!) But I've seen some great ideas on here before and would like to fancy it up a bit - like with some fruit, or frosting, or jam!.!.!.Can you help!?Www@FoodAQ@Com

Whip 2 cups of heavy whipping cream with 1/4 c!. cocoa powder, 1/2 c!. sugar and 1 tsp!. vanilla (actually a little rum is good too) until stiff peaks!. Slice the Angel Food cake into 3 layers, and layer some of the cocoa whipped cream between the layers and all over the top and sides!. Refrigerate overnight!. It'll sink into the cake and make it absolutely WONDERFUL!! !.!.!.!.!.!.!. You can also just slice the cake into 3 layers and layer with whipped cream & sliced strawberries and serve it right away!.!.!.!.!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
A simple lemon glaze tastes wonderful on angel food cake!.!.!.!.some confectioner's sugar, lemon juice, and milk wisked together to form a glaze!. Yum!!!!! With some strawberries on the side!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
break up angel food cake in pieces in a bowl and add cool whip and strawberry pie filling stir together WOW DELICIOUS!!!!!!Www@FoodAQ@Com
Cut it in half and tunnel out some of the bottom part with a spoon!. Fill with strawberries , put back together and frost with whip creamWww@FoodAQ@Com
