Answers:
you can do it!. the temperature is hot enough to cook the fish!. you might need to use the extended wash cycle, but it would work!. you need to wrap it in saran wrap and aluminum foil!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Theoretically, It could be done as long as the fish is wrapped well as the water jets may break down the fish!. A few thoughts occur though:
Don't try this while washing other dishes or put soap powder in there
Don't attenpt this if you use a rinse agent such as Jet dry in your dishwasher
consider running the dishwasher empty for a cycle or two before you try to cook food in there - soap residue will not make for a pleasurable dining experience!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

You could, could being the key word!. I don't think I would do it unless the dishwasher was scrubbed out first!. Most people never clean the inside of the dishwasher and there is food residue in there!. If you want it steamed, get a roaster pan with a wire rack and put the fish on the rack and put water in the pan and be sure that the water level doesn't touch the fish!. Put in the oven at 350F degrees with lid on for about 20-30 minutes!. (Stainless steal works best here!.) OH, MAKE SURE THE WATER IS BOILING WHEN YOU ADD IT TO GET THE STEAMING DONE RIGHT!Www@FoodAQ@Com

I have heard of this technique too!.!.!.but I ask myself if there is a dishwasher there is probably an oven sooooo!.!.why!?Www@FoodAQ@Com

no you cant and what about the fairy and soap!!!!!!Www@FoodAQ@Com
