CHEESE STRAWS

INGREDIENTS:

1 1/2 cups sifted all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon seasoned salt
1/4 teaspoon dry mustard
1/2 cup shortening
3 to 4 tablespoons water
1 cup shredded Cheddar cheese
1 tablespoon paprika

PREPARATION:

Sift together the flour, salt, and dry mustard!. Cut in shortening until mixture resembles meal!. Sprinkle 3 tablespoons of water over and stir with a fork until flour is moistened and forms a ball!. Add more water, a small amount at a time, if necessary!. Turn dough out onto a floured surface; roll into a rectangle 1/4-inch thick!.

Sprinkle half of the dough surface with 1/3 cup of shredded cheese and 1 teaspoon paprika!. Fold plain half over the covered half and pinch edges to seal!. Roll out to a rectangle again and sprinkle half with another 1/3 cup shredded cheese and 1 teaspoon paprika!. Repeat rolling and sprinkling one more time!. Roll into a rectangle 1/4-inch thick and cut into 3-inch strips!. Place cheese straws on ungreased baking sheet and bake at 425° for 10 to 12 minutes, until puffed and golden brown!.

SAUSAGE CHEESE BALLS

INGREDIENTS:

1 pound bulk ground sausage (mild or hot)
1/4 cup finely chopped celery
1/4 cup finely chopped green onion
3 cups biscuit mix
1 1/2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
1 egg, lightly beaten
1 tablespoon melted butter

PREPARATION:

In a skillet, brown the sausage with celery and onion; drain well!. Combine sausage mixture with baking mix, egg, cheese, and butter!. Mix well; form into balls about 1 inch in size!. Bake in a preheated 350° oven on lightly greased or sprayed baking sheets for 20 to 25 minutes, until lightly browned!. Makes about 36 1-inch appetizers!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

mac & cheese this recipe is one that my husband's family likes!.
1 pound of macaron or spagetti
about 2 cups shreded cheddar cheese
2/3 cup of monterey jack cheese
1 garlic clove diced
2 tablespoons of diced white onion
salt & pepper to taste
1 15 oz!. can of tomato sauce
a little bit of milk 1/2 cup
a little of margarine or butter

cook pasta according to directions then drain!. in the pot saute the onion& garlic, then add drained pasta & mix!. ad tomato sauce, salt & pepper, then pour mild in to tomato sauce can &then add to pasta & stir!. add cheese & stir you can add mor or less according to desired taste & consistancy & when all cheese is melted turn off & let set for about 10minutes, then serveWww@FoodAQ@Com

First you have to purchase a cow!.
Then milk it!.
Then let the milk ferment into cheese!.
Then use some yellow & red food coloring to make it cheddary!.
