How to fry an egg?!

Question: How to fry an egg!?
Okay, I'm a total amateur in this, but I spread some oil on the frying pan, cracked the egg and poured the contents in, now what!? How could I find out that the egg is already cooked!? How long should I wait!? When will I season it with salt!? When will I reduce the heat!? Sorry if I'm asking too much!.!.!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

There's nothing like a fried egg in the morning !.!.!. with some toast and coffee !.!.!. mmm!. This shouldn't take you too long to learn and there's always room for adding your own flair since it's a recipe ,,,Over medium heat, warm a small amount of oil or butter, perhaps 1 1/2 tsp!., in a small (8-inch) skillet, or spray the pan with nonstick cooking spray!.
Step2 Crack an egg into the pan!.
Step3 Cook until the white appears solid, about 3 to 4 minutes!.
Step4For basted eggs, put 1 tsp!. or so of melted butter over the yolk!.
Step5 For eggs sunny-side up, remove the egg from the pan with a spatula and serve!.
Step6 For eggs over easy, carefully flip the egg over onto the yolk side and cook another minute or two!. (You'll probably want to turn the egg after 2 to 3 minutes, instead of 3 to 4, depending on how well done you like your eggs!.)

enjoy ur fried eggs dear friendWww@FoodAQ@Com

the perfect fried egg preheat your pan at low then crack your egg into a bowl 2 reasons avoid eggshells and avoid accidentally putting a rotten egg with the fresh egg your cooking season anytime your like before during or after once your pan is hot pour you egg to the pan and wait till it sets for me the white should be soft and not crunchy if you have a convection burner which is very expensive switch to temp setting and set it at 90 deg celcius egg sets at 80 deg celcius a healthy alternative is to steam you eggs very soft and light try it you wont regret itWww@FoodAQ@Com

ok well after you put the egg in you cook it until it is lightly set set , the egg whites are no longer clear but white and hard, then flip it if you like your eggs to be flipped till its a wee bit golden, depending on how you like your yolk is how long you leave it in the pan, you can tell by gently touching the yolk, i would cook this on a medium heat or just a wee bit lower!. season with salt once you have cooked it, it should take a few minutes to cook the egg, good luckWww@FoodAQ@Com

Bless you! Everyone does it differently depending on their personal taste!. This is how i do it;

Put about 3 spoons vegetable/corn oil in the pan and get it really hot!. Crack the egg in, it should be hot enough that it spits a little!. Let it cook for 20 seconds, then tip the pan and use a spoon to put some of the hot oil over the yolk area to cook the white!. Wait about 30 seconds and use a spatula to put on a plate!. Sprinkle salt on top & enjoy!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

depending on what ur cooker is i would put mine on about 3, wait for the oil to warm slightly, crack in the egg, wait a minute or so then reduce it to about 2 so that its just simmering, use a spoon and spoon up the hot oil and pour over thegg yoke til it changes colour slightly i like to do it til its just slightly pink so i know tis cooked as im paranoid abotu food poisnining! Flick the oil over the rest of the egg using a spatula thing or spoon again what ever u find easier and basically just leave it to cook for about 5 mins!Www@FoodAQ@Com

You can season it right away and use a medium flame and the longest you want it on one side is when you see the edges start to brown you'll get use to the timing after a few eggs and If you want to say the hell with cholesterol then use bacon grease Oh man does this make for a much better egg!. you get the bacon grease by after you fry some bacon save the grease in a coffee mug or something!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

The white starts out clear, and as it cooks from the base up will go gradually opaque white!. When the whole thing is white, it's cooked!. Turn the heat down fairly low straight away!. When the it's white all the way across (but not cooked, there'll still be a layer of translucent jelly) use the eggslice to move it slightly in the oil so it doesn't stick!. Season it now, and don't forget the cracked black pepper!Www@FoodAQ@Com
