Question: Help! Best ways to have your chicken look/taste like restaurant style!?
Hey I'm sick of paying 12 bucks for grilled chicken (salad, oriental, hawaiin style, etc)!. I'm trying to eat healthy but i can't get my chicken to look or taste like the grilled chicken in the restaurants!. I need some suggestions (so i can make salads and different dinners), and tips!. Does anyone make their chicken with the George Foreman Grill!?

use liquid smoke!. It's avail!. in the seasonings section of grocery stores, little plastic bottle, i like the hickory one!. Use that in the marinade!.

You'd need to use a BBQ to get the charbroiled taste!.

The George Foreman makes it look pretty,but it doesn't taste any different than using the oven!.

I like to pan fry and sear it on both sides to get a nice golden colour in some EVOO and then toss it in the oven to finish baking!.It gets really crispy on the outside and juicy in the middle this way!.

also cutting chicken on the bias makes it look prettier :)Www@FoodAQ@Com

Hello,

I think the key to making good chicken is tenderizing!. If you don't have a good Meat Tenderizer Mallet then go out and get one!. And every time you make chicken pound the chicken flat and then marinate it in your sauce of choice such as Italian Dressing!.

Then when you grill the chicken be sure not to over cook it!. I used to always over cook my chicken until I got a good meat thermometer!.

try italian dressing

Marinate the chicken, then grill it, or put it in the oven and put a small pirex bowl, cover it with aluminum foil add 1-2 tablespoon of butter with a small piece of charcoal, to get the smell!. (put it under the chicken tray)Www@FoodAQ@Com

you need a cast iron grill - either the bar b q or you can buy one to sit on top of your stoves burner!. Let it get really hot before you put the chicken onWww@FoodAQ@Com

I would use liquid smoke as stated above!. Many restaurants also use it for their dishes - you'd be surprised!Www@FoodAQ@Com
