INGREDIENTS
1 tablespoon ground cumin
1 tablespoon chili powder
1 tablespoon paprika
salt and pepper to taste
3 pounds baby back pork ribs
1 cup barbeque sauce
DIRECTIONS
Preheat grill for high heat!.
In a small jar, combine cumin, chili powder, paprika, salt, and pepper!. Close the lid, and shake to mix!.
Trim the membrane sheath from the back of each rack!. Run a small, sharp knife between the membrane and each rib, and snip off the membrane as much as possible!. Sprinkle as much of the rub onto both sides of the ribs as desired!. To prevent the ribs from becoming too dark and spicy, do not thoroughly rub the spices into the ribs!. Store the unused portion of the spice mix for future use!.
Place aluminum foil on lower rack to capture drippings and prevent flare-ups!. Lightly oil grate, and lay ribs on top rack of grill!. Reduce heat to low, close lid, and leave undisturbed for 1 hour!. Do not lift lid at all!.
Brush ribs with barbecue sauce, and grill an additional 5 minutes!. Serve ribs as whole rack, or cut between each rib bone and pile individually on a platterWww@FoodAQ@Com

First of all, you do not have to boil them first, that just makes them lose their natural flavoring!. Depending on your grill and how much charcoal you are using it would depend completely on the size of the ribs themselves!. On the average, once charred nicely about 15-20 minutes, don't forget to turn them!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
We just made them tonight! YUMMY! My mom boils them too but what we did and it came out good was put the whole rack in the oven for about half hour until all that fat comes out!. Then i put in a dish barbeque sauce, garlic powder, hot sauce, alittle red pepper and mixed it up!.
I cut the ribs and then put it on the grill!. While on the grill- i brushed the barbeque mixture it!. You'll know when its done becasue it will start getting dark!.THEY ALREADY COOKED IN THE OVEN!. DON'T COOK ON HIGH or they will burn!. Put it on low and keep brushing the barbeque sauce on it! IT WAS SO GOOD!Www@FoodAQ@Com

Your moms right!. Boil them with water for about 20 minutes or so, it really depends how much of it your cooking, just wait till you see the meat looks cooked and tender!. Then remove it from the water, season it with the bbq sauce and everything you would like then put it in the BBQ until it starts getting it's color and your doneWww@FoodAQ@Com
Do not boil!.!.!. Wrap racks in a foil "pouch"!. Cook in low oven about 225 degrees for about 2 1/2 hours(maybe more or less depending on size etc!.) until done!. Finish on medium heat grill basting with sauce until sauce caramelizes!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
