Creamy 4-cheese Mac N Cheese

1 (16 ounce) package elbow macaroni
9 tablespoons butter
1/4 cup flour
1 cup shredded Muenster cheese
1 cup shredded Cheddar cheese
1 cup shredded sharp Cheddar cheese
1 cup shredded Monterey Jack cheese
2 cups half-and-half
8 ounces cubed processed cheese food
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/8 teaspoon ground black pepper

Cook macaroni until al dente!. Return to cooking pot and mix with 1/4 cup butter!. Set aside!. Melt 1/4 cup butter in a saucepan!. Stir in 1/4 cup flour!. Gradually stir in Half & Half!. Cook, stirring constantly over medium heat, until sauce thickens!. Stir in salt and pepper!. Stir in cheeses!. Cook, stirring constantly until cheeses are melted!. Mix with macaroni and transfer to a lightly greased casserole dish!. Top with some shredded cheese and 1 Tbs!. butter!. Bake for 15-20 minutes, or until cheeses on top are melted!.

I love mac and cheese!. But it has to be the real stuff not the stuff in the box!. My kids used to love kraft but as they have gotten older they have come to their senses!. They like the good old fashion baked in the oven mac and cheese just like me!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

yes i love macaroni and cheese!. I even know how to make it numerous different ways!. Try making shells and cheese then melt some butter in the microwave and crush ritz crackers in the butter!. Put the crackers on top of the mac and cheese and bake for 20 min!. AMAZINGWww@FoodAQ@Com

Oh my gawd yes!! But not Kraft!. I make my own, with three different cheese, and I top it with caramelized spanish onions and Panko crumbs, pop it in the oven until crumbs are crispy!. So good!!!Www@FoodAQ@Com
