Boiling lobster.. what's the best way to season it? Please answer fast.?!

Question: Boiling lobster!.!. what's the best way to season it!? Please answer fast!.!?
I'm boiling loster tails tonight for the first time and want to season it with Tony Cachere's!. Since it must stay completely in the shell while it's boiling, can I add the seasoning to the water!? How much should I use for two tails!?Www@FoodAQ@Com

Answers:
add whatever kind of seasoning you like and also some lemons are good to flavor seafood !. Use probably a teaspoon or so of seasoning!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

if your cooking just tails and not whole lobsters your best bet isn't to boil them but to broil them!. boiling a tail on its own will water log the meat!. instead w/a sharp knife cut the top of the shell from the middle center of the tail (at the top opposite the fins) to the end avoiding cutting into the tail!. then pull the meat thru the cut shell and lay it flat on top!. season w/salt pepper and whatever else you like!. put them under the broiler on high until the meat is no longer translucent!. add some drawn butter and enjoy!!Www@FoodAQ@Com

of course just put a little more than you would if they were coming out of the shell!. or you can mix it in with the melted butter to dip the meat in when you're eating it!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

I have always used Old Bay crab boil for it!.!.!.!.but Tonys would work!.!.!.ADD the flavoring to the water!.!.!.!.!.dont over boil and its not the whole lobster or it will be tough!.!.!.long enough for the shell to turn bright red!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

We don't season ours because we want to taste the lobster and butter!. :o)

But those who do season, season the water!.

Enjoy your delightful dinner!Www@FoodAQ@Com
