Question: How to make CHOCOLATE COOKIES without using ALCOHOL!?
Answers:
1/2 cup (113 grams) unsalted butter, room temperature

1/2 cup (110 grams) light brown sugar

1/4 cup (50 grams) white granulated sugar

1 large egg

1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract

1 cup (140 grams) all purpose flour

1/4 cup (30 grams) Dutch-processed cocoa powder

1/2 teaspoon baking powder

1/8 teaspoon salt

1 1/2 cups (260 grams) white chocolate chips or chunks


Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (177 degrees C) and place rack in center of oven!. Line two baking sheets with parchment paper!.

In the bowl of your electric mixer (or with a hand mixer), cream the butter and sugars until light and fluffy (2-3 minutes)!. Add the egg and vanilla extract and beat until incorporated!. First sift together the cocoa powder, flour, baking powder, and salt and then add to the butter and egg mixture!. Mix just until incorporated!. Fold in the the chocolate chips!.

Using a small ice cream scoop or two spoons, place about 1 1/2 tablespoons of batter on the prepared baking sheet, spacing about 2 inches (5 cm) apart!.

Bake for approximately 8 minutes or until the the cookies are still soft in the center but are firm around the edges!. Remove from oven and let cookies cool on baking sheet for about 5 minutes before removing the cookies to a wire rack to cool completely!.

Ingredients

? 3/4 cup packed brown sugar
? 1 cup butter
? 1 large egg
? 2 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
? 1 teaspoon baking soda
? 1/2 teaspoon salt
? 2 cups semisweet chocolate chips
? if desired, 1 cup chopped pecans


Directions

Preheat oven to 375 degrees!. Mix sugar, brown sugar, butter and egg in a large bowl by hand!. Stir in flour, baking soda, and salt!. The dough will be very stiff!. Stir in chocolate chips!. Drop dough by rounded tablespoonfuls 2 inches apart onto ungreased cookie sheet!. Bake 8 to 10 minutes or until light brown!. The centers will be soft!. Let cool for one minute then remove from cookie sheet and place on wire rack to finish cooling

Just make up the dough and use cocoa and sugar, or baker's chocolate as called for in most recipes!.
I never add vanilla and chocolate in the same recipe, it would be counter-productive!.
I never heard of alcohol being in chocolate before!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
