Question: Food Ideas & Recipies!.!?
I just got braces yesterday and they hurt alot but since iv taken the pandol the pain is gone!. I cant chew!. I was wondering if you have any good recipies for soups or anything that I would be able to eat!.

Prebaked pie crust (you can get no-bake pie crusts at the store
One package favorite instant pudding!
Anything!

Make the instant pudding and add whatever else you want like for oreo pudding pie add oreo pieces, for chocolate pudding pie (the CLASSIC) maybe add a swirl of melted chocolate, for other pies!.!.!. etc!. etc!. etc!.

Ausgust Corn Cowder


2 ears of corn (whole), kernels cut off and set aside
4 cups chicken broth
1 tablespoon minced fresh dillweed
4 red potatoes, diced
2 cups plain yogurt
3 cucumbers, peeled, seeded, cut into 1-inch chunks
1 red bell pepper, seeded and diced
1/8 teaspoon ground black pepper
Cut the trimmed corn cobs in half and combine with chicken broth and dillweed in a large saucepan or stock pot!. Bring to a boil, reduce the heat, and simmer for 10 minutes!.
Discard the cobs!. Add diced red potatoes and cook for 8 minutes, or until tender!. Add the reserved corn and cook 1 minute!.
Strain the soup, saving the potato-corn mixture in a second stock pot!. Return the strained soup liquid to the original saucepan or stock pot!. Set the potato-corn mixture and soup liquid aside!.
In a food processor or blender, combine yogurt and cucumber chunks; process until blended but not pureed (Hint: use the 'pulse' button)!.
Combine the potato-corn mixture, diced red bell peppers and pepper with strained soup liquid (first stock pot)!. Chill for 2 hours before serving!.

Creamy Potato Soup Recipe


3 medium potatoes cut into large pieces
1 (14!.5 ounce) can chicken broth
2 medium green onions, sliced
1 1/2 cups milk
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/8 teaspoon pepper
1/8 teaspoon dried thyme leaves
Cornstarch
Heat chicken broth and potatoes to boiling in a medium saucepan over high heat!. Reduce heat and simmer 15 minutes or until potatoes are fork-tender!. Remove from heat but don't drain!. Break potatoes into smaller pieces using a fork or masher!. Stir in milk, salt, pepper, thyme and onions!. Heat over medium heat, stirring occasionally!. Add cornstarch and continue heating to reach desired consistency

Cheesy Potato Soup II

INGREDIENTS
6 tablespoons unsalted butter
1 1/2 cups chopped onions
1 1/2 cups chopped celery
4 cups water
8 potatoes, peeled and cubed
15 slices American cheese - broken into pieces
4 tablespoons all-purpose flour
2 1/3 cups milk
2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley

DIRECTIONS
Melt the butter in a large pot over medium heat!. Saute the onions and celery in the butter for 5 to 10 minutes, or until tender!.
Stir in the water and potatoes, bring to a boil and then simmer until the potatoes are tender!. Add the cheese and stir until melted!.
In a separate small bowl, combine the flour and the milk and stir well until the flour is mostly dissolved!. Pour this into the soup slowly, stirring constantly, until soup has thickened, about 5 minutes!. Garnish with the parsley!.

Congee
Basic Recipe
1 cup long grain rice
9 cups of chicken broth or water or half broth and water!.

Bring to boil, turn to medium-low and simmer until thick!.
Leave the lid slightly ajar so the congee doesn't boil over!.
It takes about 3 hours!.


Garnishes for the finished congee!.!.!.

chinese parsley (cilantro)
oyster sauce
soy sauce
toasted sesame oil
chili oil or chili sauce
