* 1 pound ground beef
* 1 medium onion, chopped
* 1 garlic clove, minced
* 1 medium tomato, chopped
* 1/2 cup mayonnaise
* 1/3 cup chopped dill pickle
* 2 tablespoons prepared mustard
* 1/2 teaspoon salt
* 1/2 teaspoon pepper
* 6 hamburger buns, split
* Lettuce Leaves

DIRECTIONS

1!. In a skillet, cook beef, onion and garlic until meat is browned; drain!. Cool!. Add the next six ingredients!. Spoon about 1/2 cup onto each bun; top with lettuce!.

Beef Salad

This is a lovely light salad with beef slices, which is perfect for lunch!.

Lean beef is a great source of protein, iron and other valuable nutrients!.

The recipe uses Grape tomatoes, which are similar to cherry tomatoes except they are grape shaped!.

Grape tomatoes are available in most supermarkets!.


* 1 250g scotch fillet steak

* 100g salad mix

* 1 cup grape tomatoes, halved

* 1 cup snow peas, sliced in half

Dressing

* ? cup balsamic vinegar

* Pinch sugar

* 1 tablespoon olive oil

* Salt and pepper to taste

Preheat medium frying pan over medium-high heat!.
Place fillet in pan and cook each side for about three minutes!.
Place on plate, cover with foil and set aside!.
Arrange salad mix in bowl, place grape tomatoes and snow peas on top!.
!. Slice beef into thin slices, place on salad and pour dressing over the top!.

Yes, we cut it into bite sizes, chopped onion, mix it with mayo and a bit of mustard!. You can leave out the onion if you wish!. We do this with left over beef such as steak!.

I just throw left over beef in a food processor, pulse till diced fine then add mayo mustard celery and onions!. pulse just to blend or mix by hand!. Yummy! add as much or as little mayo mustard onions and celery to your liking!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
