Need a good macroni and pea salad for Graduation.?!
I once ran across a macroni pea salad that has cheese and no egg in it, but I can't remember if it has mayo or miracle whip in it!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

*Pasta Salad With Peas and Ham
12 ounces rotini, about 4 cups
1 cup thinly sliced celery
1 cup diced red onion
1 cup diced ham
1 can sliced ripe olives or sliced kalamata olives, about 2 ounces
1 1/2 cups frozen green peas, cooked just until tender
1/2 cup mayonnaise, or more to taste
1/2 cup ranch-style dressing
1 scant teaspoon dried leaf basil, or about 1 tablespoon chopped basil
Dash garlic powder
Salt and pepper, to taste
Cook rotini in boiling salted water just until tender, about 12 to 15 minutes!. Rinse under cool running water, drain, and transfer to a large bowl!. Stir in all remaining ingredients, adding more mayonnaise as needed!.
Cover and chill for at least 2 hours or overnight!.

2 cups uncooked macaroni
1 package (10 oz!. size) frozen green peas, thawed and drained
1 cup cubed Cheddar cheese
1/4 cup green onion, chopped
2/3 cup salad dressing (light is fine)
1 teaspoon dried dill
Cook macaroni according to package directions; drain!.
Combine with peas, cheese and onions!.
Gently mix with salad dressing!. Sprinkle dried dill on top!. Cover and chill!.

Hellman's mayo
2 ts Garlic powder
2 ts Onion powder
1 Dill pickles
2 Bell peppe
1 cn Pimento
1 pk Petite Peas (green) frozen
Salt & pepper to taste
Cook & drain macaroni!.Chop pepper, pickle, and pimento!.
Stir in with mayo and seasonings!.
Stir in peas!. Chill several hours!.

1/2 cup uncooked salad pasta or macaroni
1 lb!. can of sweet (English) peas
2 stalks celery
1 small onion, chopped fine
2 slices American or cheddar or any favorite cheese, cut in small cubes
Salt and pepper to taste
1/4 cup Miracle Whip or mayonnaise
Cook pasta according to package directions!. Cool!.
Blend cooked pasta with above ingredients!. Chill several hours!. You can add cubes of ham or salami or cooked chicken for Main Dish!. Or, as is, for side dish!. So cool, light , creamy and easy!.
