Question: What does your spaghetti sauce consist of!?
Mine is: 1 1/2 jars of Tradional Prego, and a few forks fulls of minced garlic!. It's pretty good!!! Thanks!!Www@FoodAQ@Com

Depends if have any in stock on the shelf!. Heres some several versions:

1!. Traditional Prego + Minced Garlic & Onion!.
2!. Ragu Chunky Vegetable Mushroom + tblsp brown sugar!.
3!. Any can spaghetti + minced garlic & onion!. Sometimes add some Sweet Italian Sausage!. Yummy!.
4!. (Filipino Version) Tomato Sauce or Ketchup (banana Ketchup)+ tbsps Brown Sugar + Hot Dogs (cut into circles & was saute in minced garlic & onion) + dash of oregeno (if any), sometimes couple tablespoons of chopped green bell pepper if have any!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

homemade spaghetti sauce:

1/2 c!. chopped onion
1/2 c!. green bell pepper
1 lb ground beef
1 T!. minced garlic
1 (28oz) can crushed tomatoes ( and diced tomatoes if you like it chunky)
1 t!. Italian seasoning
1 t!. dried basil
1/2 t!. oregano
salt & pepper to taste

Brown onion, bell pepper, garlic, and ground beef over medium heat!. Pour in can of crushed tomatoes and herbs, let simmer for 25 minutes, pour over spaghetti!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

It's never quite the same as the last batch, but:

ground beef (extra lean)
ground sausage or diced pepperoni bits
onion
garlic
celery
green pepper
a can of diced tomatoes
a can of tomato sauce
a can of tomato paste
a can of beef broth
oregano (only a little for subtle flavoring)
parsley
rosemary
thyme
tarragon
red pepper flakes
lemon zest
red wine
fresh parmesan cheese
salt
fresh ground pepper
whatever else comes to mind at the moment !.!.!. sautee raw veggies with ground beef until juices run clear, add other ingredients, cook for as long as you can, removing any fats that float along the top!.

Fill a large (3 to 4 quart) pan with diced fresh tomatoes!. Boil over medium heat for 1 1/2 to 2 hours!. Add:

Several cloves, diced fresh garlic
Large pinch of fresh dried oregano
Large pinch of fresh dried marjoram
(use less spice of commercially bought)
1/2 c!. red wine
1 table spoon brown sugar

Lean ground meat, 1lb!. smoked pork sausage (cut in bite size pieces), tomato sauce, onions, garlic, oregano, other seasonings, 1/2 can cream of mushroom soup, parm!. cheese!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
