Bleu cheese?!
I am thinking about buying a chunk of bleu cheese, what would be good with it!? What are some things I can make with it!?Www@FoodAQ@Com

Homemade Potato Chips with Bleu Cheese and Chives
4 Yukon gold potatoes, about 2 pounds
Peanut oil, for frying
Kosher salt
1 pound bleu cheese, finely crumbled
1 bunch chives, chopped
Peel the potatoes and slice them into thin 1/8-inch slices using a mandolin or sharp knife!. Rinse the slices in several changes of water until the water runs clear!. Drain them and pat them dry!.
Put about 3 inches of oil into a large deep pot; it should not come up more than half way!. Bring the oil up to 325 degrees F over medium-high heat!. Working in batches, carefully add the potato slices, a dozen at a time!. Stir them to make sure they are not sticking together!. Fry until they are a golden brown, about 3 to 4 minutes!. Remove and drain them well on paper towels; season with salt!. Repeat with the remaining potato slices!.
Heat the oven to 450 degrees F!. Place a layer of the chips onto a baking dish and sprinkle with some of the bleu cheese and chives!. Place another layer of chips onto that and some more cheese and chives!. Continue until you have used up all the chips and cheese!. 1 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon black pepper
1/2 cup sliced green bell pepper
1/2 cup sliced red bell pepper
3/4 cup heavy cream
1/3 cup all-purpose flour
1/2 cup plain yogurt
1 cup crumbled blue cheese
1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
DIRECTIONS
Bring a large pot of lightly salted water to a boil!. Add macaroni and cook for 8 to 10 minutes or until al dente; drain!.
Meanwhile, in a medium saucepan over medium heat combine butter, salt, pepper and bell peppers!. Simmer until heated through!. Stir in cream, flour, yogurt, bleu cheese and Parmesan cheese!.
Stir cooked macaroni into cheese mixture and serve hot!.

6 tablespoons crumbled blue cheese
2 tablespoons butter, softened
4 teaspoon fresh chives
1 tablespoon coarsely ground black pepper
3 TBS garlic
3 teaspoon onion powder
1/4 teaspoon ground cayenne pepper
1 (2 pound) beef flank steak
2 tablespoons olive oil, divided
DIRECTIONS
Preheat the grill for low heat!.
In a bowl, mix the blue cheese, butter, and chives!. Set aside!. In a separate bowl, mix the black pepper, garlic salt, onion powder, and cayenne pepper!.
Rub the steak with olive oil!. Coat both sides of the meat with the spice mixture, and rub in by hand or press with a spatula!.
Lightly oil the grill grate!. Place meat on the grill, and cook 10 to 15 minutes per side, or to desired doneness!. Grill to rare or medium rare for best flavor!. Remove from grill, and slice lengthwise into thin strips!. Top with a large dollop of blue cheese butter, and serve!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

I like bleu cheese with fresh cold friut (apples, pears, grapes, etc) and whole wheat crackers!. Bleu cheese makes the greatest salad dressing!. What about adding some in with the other cheese in your grilled cheese sandwich!? Or adding some chunks in with humdrum mac and cheese!?Www@FoodAQ@Com
