Question: What are some high fat recipes!?
I'm doing a project and i have 2 find a high fat recipe and convert it 2 a low fat but im having trouble!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

*Microwave Creamy Pecan Pesto

1 cup pecans, coarsely chopped
2 Tbs!. unsalted butter
1 clove garlic, minced
1-1/2 cups whipping cream
1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
3/4 cup fresh basil, minced

Combine nuts and butter in a microwave safe bowl!. Microwave 2-3 minutes on high, uncovered, or until nuts are toasted!. Stir in garlic, cream and Parmesan and microwave 2-3 minutes on high, uncovered, or until thickened!. Stir in basil and serve immediately!.
This recipe serves 4 people!. Due to the nature of this recipe, it adjusts the number of servings in multiples of 4 only!.

Per serving: calories 581, fat 60!.3g, 90% calories from fat, cholesterol 141mg, protein 6!.5g, carbohydrates 8!.7g, fiber 2!.6g, sugar 4!.1g, sodium 120mg, diet points 16!.6!.

*Quiche

Butter a large pie pan and sprinkle with the following:
12 slices of bacon, fried and crumbled
1 cup shredded Swiss cheese
1/2 cup finely chopped onion
-Place the following in a blender or food processor and blend until well mixed:
2 cups milk
1/2 cup Bisquick
4 eggs
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon pepper

Pour blended mixture over the bacon, cheese and onion!. Bake at 350 degrees for 50-55 minutes until well-set and golden brown!. Allow quiche to cool for five minutes before serving!.
#NOTE: This recipe can be made in many variations depending on what you like and happen to have on hand!. Shredded carrots, broccoli, spinach, mushrooms, shrimp, crabmeat and different kinds of cheeses can be substituted for the items listed above!. Makes 4 servings!. Each serving provides 597 calories!.

*Cheese Cake

6 8 oz!. Packages of cream cheese (3 pounds)
2 cups sugar
1 pint heavy cream
7 whole eggs
3 egg yolks
1 pint sour cream
2 teaspoons vanilla extract
1 1/2 cups crushed graham cracker crumbs
1/2 cup soft butter

Mix graham cracker crumbs and butter together and divide mixture in half!. Press half of crumb mixture into the bottom of each of two 9 inch round cake pans!. Cream together cream cheese, sugar, eggs and egg yolks!. Add sour cream, heavy cream and vanilla!. Mix well!. Pour mixture into pans over the cracker crust!. Bake at 350 degrees until set!. Makes two cakes, eight servings each!. Each serving provides 620 calories!.

*Cherry Cheese Tarts

18 vanilla wafer cookies
6 oz cream cheese
2 eggs
2 teaspoons vanilla
1 can cherry pie filling

Put paper cupcake liners into muffin tins!. Place one vanilla wafer in each liner!. Beat cream cheese, sugar, eggs an vanilla eat medium speed!. Pour into papers, on top of vanilla wafers!. Bake 12-15 minutes in a 350 degree oven!. When cool, spoon cherry pie filling on top!. Keep tars in the refrigerator until ready to serve!. Tarts may also be garnished with whipped cream!. Makes 18 servings!. Each serving (one tart) provides 133 calories!.

Chicken Rolls with Parsley Pesto
Prep: 15 min, Cook: 20 min!.
8 chicken thigh fillets
1 Tbs!. plus 1 tsp!. coarse grain mustard
8 bacon slices
toothpick
2 Tbs!. plus 2 tsp!. chopped walnuts or pecans
2 cups fresh parsley
2 cloves garlic, crushed
1/2 cup olive oil
2 Tbs!. plus 2 tsp!. grated Parmesan cheese
Prepare grill or turn on broiler!. Place thigh fillets between 2 sheets of plastic wrap and pound lightly with a mallet or other heavy flat object to flatten!. Spread fillets with mustard and roll up with mustard inside!. Wrap each roll with a bacon slice and secure with toothpicks!. Grill or broil chicken 10 minutes, turn and grill or broil another 8-10 minutes or until cooked through!. Meanwhile, combine next 3 ingredients and half the oil in a food processor or blender and process until smooth!. Continue to process while gradually adding remaining oil!. Add cheese and mix well!. Serve chicken with parsley pesto!.

I'd suggest doing an oven fried chicken recipe vs conventionally fried chicken!.
also you could do a lower fat beef stroganoff by using fat free sour cream, and a leaner cut of beef (cook it longer so it's tender)Www@FoodAQ@Com

A Big Mac (McDonalds)!. Pretty much anything fried!. Fried chicken, whatever!. That wouldn't be easy to convert to low-fat, but it is high-fat (probably trans-fat)!. Most anything with a hefty dollop of cheese!. Perhaps nachos!? You could make a low-fat Nachos without a ton of trouble, I think!. Pizza!? etc!.!.!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
