The other answers are good about unplugging the toaster first and then removing the toast with a fork!. However!.!.!. you also should be careful not to wreck your toaster with the fork!. I did that once!. I got the fork caught in the wires inside and that was the end of the toaster!. In other words, yes you can do it but do it gently!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
