Why isn't there anything to eat in my house, when I just spent $150 on food last weekend?!

Question: Why isn't there anything to eat in my house, when I just spent $150 on food last weekend!?
I've got canned food and some frozen stuff, but my fridge is almost bare!. There's nothing to eat around here unless you wanna take the time to cook something!.
I don't mind cooking dinner everyday, but breakfast, lunch and snacks should be quick and easy imo!.
What kinds of things should I be stocking the fridge and pantrys with, for something easy to make!?Www@FoodAQ@Com

I would buy fruits and veggies and portion them into ziploc baggies when you get home from the store that way, its easy to grab snacks!. Or bake cookies or brownies on the weekends and do the same with those!. You can keep Chips and salsa on hand (I know I always do)!. I also like to snack on yogurt and cottage cheese! (and these are all healthy alternatives to hot pockets!!)
For breakfast I buy granola bars, those kellogs bars, bananas, apples, and on days that I have extra time I will sit down to a bowl of cereal!.
For lunch, You should definately make extra at dinner to have leftovers for lunch!. I swear by this!! And if you want, you can start portioning leftovers into the ziploc tupperware and freezing them, that way you have lunch 2 weeks from now! also stock up on canned soups!
**IMO, grocery shopping is all about planning ahead and portioning things for convenience for the family!!**Www@FoodAQ@Com

It's always good to have snack food but take into consideration the calorie intake!. Smart snack food would be things like baby carrots, grapes and sandwich stuff!. I know exactly what kind of situation you're in!. I ALWAYS keep my freezer stocked with meat, especially chicken breast!. It's so simple and quick to fry up some chicken breast and you can eat it in any form ie, mexican, italian, american!. If you're running out of ideas, make bigger dinners so that there are leftovers the next day for lunch!. For breakfast, I would keep a considerable stock of bagels and cereal!. It's inexpensive and can last a long time!. Good luck!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Stock up on onions and green peppers when they are on sale!.!.!.chop them up and freeze them so when you need them for a recipe you just have to grab it from the freezer!. Go to your local bread outlet store!.!.!.you can get your bread items there for less!. The one near me has a buy one get one free store and I get my bagels that way!.!.keep one out for now and freeze the other for later!. Buy English muffins and stuff for homemade pizzas and make little personal pizzas!. Shop with coupons you can buy more while spending less!. I spend around $70/wk for my family of 6!. I play the grocery game!.!.!.!.at the site the listmaker matches up this weeks sales to coupons so you know when you are getting the best deals!. It's $1 for a 4 week trial and then $10 for the 1st store list!.!.!.but you'll get that back with all the money you'll be saving!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

I do this all the time!! So I decided to come to terms with my laziness and buy frozen quick fix and stuff like cottage cheese, easy salad stuff, cold cuts and cheese, quesadilla fixings, yogurt, bagels, pasta, soups!.!.!.stuff that takes less than 10 min or it just seems too much work if you're tired after work!.!.!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
