Kid friendly recipes?!
im sister has asked me to go teach her class some healthy food that they can make at home!.!.!.!.im used to making very complicated dishes and im asking those parents and teachers out there wat would apeal to a 6 to 9 and a 10 to 13 and a 14 to 17 classes of kids to make!.!.!.i got a idea for the older ones but would love ur input!.!.!.!.for the little ones i need something easy and healthy!.!.!.!.

Fruit Salsa with Cinnamon Chips: (Yummy!!!) You can make the "chips" at home the night before
INGREDIENTS
2 kiwis, peeled and diced
2 Golden Delicious apples - peeled, cored and diced
8 ounces raspberries
1 pound strawberries
2 tablespoons white sugar
1 tablespoon brown sugar
3 tablespoons fruit preserves, any flavor
10 (10 inch) flour tortillas
butter flavored cooking spray
2 cups cinnamon sugar
DIRECTIONS
In a large bowl, thoroughly mix kiwis, Golden Delicious apples, raspberries, strawberries, white sugar, brown sugar and fruit preserves!. Cover and chill in the refrigerator at least 15 minutes!.
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C)!.
Coat one side of each flour tortilla with butter flavored cooking spray!. Cut into wedges and arrange in a single layer on a large baking sheet!. Sprinkle wedges with desired amount of cinnamon sugar!. Spray again with cooking spray!.
Bake in the preheated oven 8 to 10 minutes!. Repeat with any remaining tortilla wedges!. Allow to cool approximately 15 minutes!. Serve with chilled fruit mixture!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

1!. Take stalks of celery and cut them into 4 inch pieces!. Spread cream cheese or another cheese spread on them, and top with raisins, dried cherries, or other dried fruit!.
2!. Put a leaf of lettuce on a plate!. Create a "pizza" by arranging pieces of fruit on top - orange sections, banana slices, chopped apples, kiwi slices, raisins, etc!. You can even use shredded coconut as "cheese"!.
3!. Make mini "shish-kebabs" on toothpicks!. Use things like grapes, apple chuncks, cherry tomatoes, or chunks of cheese!.
4!. Tortilla wraps - layer a tortilla with some combination of lettuce, spinach, tomatoes, sprouts, cheese, lunch meat slices, or anything else you can think of, wrap it up, cut it it into slices held together with toothpicks, and eat it!
5!. Fruit "popsicles" - put chunks of fruit on toothpicks (grapes work really well for this), freeze for a few hours, and enjoy!

My daughter in in 6th grade and takes a cooking class!. They have made milkshakes, cheese omelets, fruit kabobs, blueberry muffins, etc!. You know, things that aren't terribly complicated but give the kids an intro into cooking!. You could make homemade pizza, let a few of them work on the crust and a few of them grate cheese and assemble the toppings!.
