What should I do with this leftover pastry cream?!

Question: What should I do with this leftover pastry cream!?
The amount I have left (after making a fruit tart) is sort of inconvenient!. I've got about 1 1/4 cups!. So--not quite enough to make another tart (plus I won't have time to make another crust in the next day or 2)!. But it's too sturdy and eggy to turn into a creme-anglaise-type dessert sauce, I think!.

It goes without saying, I'm not throwing it away!! But I need a good, simple use for what I've got left, and I need it soon!. So if you were in my shoes, what would you do with it!?

Would go great in a cream puff or eclair!. Maybe between some sheets of filo dough with a some thin sliced partially cooked apples!?Www@FoodAQ@Com

Yeah poured over fresh fruit and crumble up some cookies and make a parfait out of it!. Yummy and top it with whipped cream!. Try mixing it with some plain or vanilla yogurt to thin it out if it's too thick!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

What, no mini tart shells or vol au vents in the freezer!?!? Pity!.
That would be the perfect solution - they come in handy at times like these!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Top it with some fresh sliced strawberries and enjoy it as is!Www@FoodAQ@Com
