Question: Do you know any good Couscous recipes!?
I've never had Couscous before but would like to try it!. If you have a good recipe can you please shareit with me!?

Make the couscous according to package directions, but use chicken or veggie broth in place of the water!. Add a pat of butter to the broth and your favorite dried herbs or seasonings!. When the couscous is done, fluff with a fork and fold in some toasted nuts, halved grape tomatoes, sliced olives, and drizzle with olive oil!. Season to taste with salt and pepper!. Add shredded cooked chicken or even canned tuna (drain well first) for a complete meal!.!.!.serve warm or cold!. Good luck!Www@FoodAQ@Com

You can saute some garlic and then add some chili powder and a little squeeze of lime juice!.

Or this is very good!. It makes a large batch so make sure you are very hungary or take to a group gathering!.

3 cups plain yougurt
1 1/2 cups olive oil
2 tbsp ground cumin
6 tbsp fresh squeezed lemon juice
3 cloves garlic pressed

6 cups water
1/4 tsp salt
3-10 oz packages plain cous cous
2-15 oz cans chick peas
2 pounds cooked shrimp deviened cut in 1/2 lengthwise
1/2 cup chopped green onions
1 cup toasted pine nuts
3-small cans mandarine oranges drained!.

Slowly mix together the yougurt, oil, lemon juice, garlic and cumin!.

Bring water and salt to boil!. Shut off and remove from heat, pour in the cous cous and let it set for 5 minutes, or until all water is absorbed!. Transfer cous cous to a large bowl and add all remaining ingrediants!.

Add the mandarin oranges last though, and then slowly fold them in at the last min!. Refridgerate 3-4 hours or overnight!.

Remember that a little dry cous cous makes a lot of cooked cous cous!.

Moroccan Cheddar Couscous
1 Tbsp!. olive oil
1 medium red bell pepper, diced
1/2 cup chopped onion
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 can (14-1/2 oz!.) chicken broth
1 cup couscous, uncooked
1-1/2 cups (6 oz!.) Sharp Cheddar Shredded Cheese, divided
2 Tbsp!. chopped fresh cilantro

Heat oil in large skillet over medium heat until hot!. Add bell pepper, onion and garlic!. Cook 6 minutes or until vegetables are tender, stirring occasionally!. Add broth; heat to a boil!. Stir in couscous; cover and remove from heat!. Let stand 5 minutes or until broth is absorbed!. Fluff couscous mixture with a fork!. Stir in 1 cup cheese!. Sprinkle with remaining cheese and cilantro!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

French couscous

Ingredients:
1/2 cup finely chopped onion
1 clove garlic, minced
1 Tbsp!. butter
1 Tbsp!. olive oil
4 oz!. Brie cheese, frozen for 20 minutes
2 Tbsp!. chopped fresh parsley
6 oz!. pkg!. instant couscous

Preparation:
Place Brie in freezer so it's easier to dice!. Be sure to only leave it in there for 20 minutes! Meanwhile, in heavy skillet cook onion and garlic in butter and olive oil until crisp tender!.
Take Brie out of freezer and remove skin; dice!. Prepare couscous as package directes; when done, fluff with fork and add cooked onion mixture, Brie, and parsley and toss gently!. Serve immediatelyWww@FoodAQ@Com

you can use it like rice, so any rice recipe would suffice!. I like boiling in chicken bullion then adding some chicken, or pork or what ever meat you prefer and maybe throw in some peas sort of like fried rice if you will!. I just throw it together, no recipe!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

The above recipies are great!. I make a Greek style salad with it sometimes!. After I make the couscous, I add feta cheese, tomatoes, marinated artichoke hearts, cucumbers, olives, (whatever)!. I serve it cold and it is a hit at the buffet parties!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
