Corn on the cob is a must have with fried chicken, homemade coleslaw or potato salad, and real baking powder biscuits, says it all!. Something light like sherbet for dessert!. Or if you want to get fancy, put a peach half in a bowl, top with a scoop of vanilla ice cream!. drizzle a glaze of a spoon of raspberry jam and a spoon of orange marmalade HEATED on top!. Any kind of greens (turnip, mustard, collard) with olive oil and garlic, plus some mashed potatoes!
