Question: Can you turn canned soup into a "stoup" or stew!?
I want to thicken up a beef vegetable soup!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Make a rue (put couple Tab!. oil or little more in a pan, add approx!.1/4 to cup flour & brown), toss fry some chunks of beef in it, onions, quartered raw potatoes, carrots, etc!. Add your canned soup & simmer!. Use the concentrate as you would a can of seasoning!. Add only as much water as necessary!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

I agree with the use of certain creamed soups, but I'm not sure why you wouldn't just use a broth and add other ingredients for a stew - meats, veggies, etc!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

You can get a can of cream of mushroom, add nothing to it (water or milk) and add to the soup!.!.!.!.!.that will thicken it up!.!.!.!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Big chunks of browned beef, larger chunks of veggies (including potatoes) !.!.!. and don't forget to add more herbs tooWww@FoodAQ@Com
