I just got this beautiful tri cut brisket, can I do this?!
My son's hate I mean HATE cabbage, but they loved the way the last St!. Patty's day recipe turned out!.

I wanna know If I can do the basic same things, and instead of the cabbage, do like carrots celery potatoes and onions!?
Kind of a beef stew mix, just not so brothy!?

You could cook the brisket for a couple of hours with pepper corns, bay leaf!. corriander seed, celery seed,garlic cloves and after it is cooked for the two hours!. strain the broth, let the meat sit while you cook potatoes, onions carrots and celery!. Slice the meat with the grain and you have your meal!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
At St!. Patrick's Day, you used a corned beef brisket, which has been in brine !.!.!. I assume you have a plain brisket now
CROCKPOT BBQ BRISKET
3-4 lb!. brisket
1 bottle BBQ sauce
1 envelope dry onion soup mix
12 oz!. beer
Put everything into a crockpot and cook all day, until tender!. Remove roast and slice, or refrigerate overnight!. Meat can be eaten the same day, but tastes best the next day, and is easier to slice!. Reheat the sauce to serve on top
Or you could make an easy pot roast:
beef brisket
1 can cream of mushroom (or celery) soup
1 package dry onion soup mix
potatoes, carrots , etc!. cut in big chunks
Line a pan with foil and put half of each soup in!. Then put the brisket in and the rest of the soups!. Put the veggies around the meat!. Cover TIGHTLY with the foil and slow bake 300 for about 6-8 hours!.!.!.!.!.!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

hey this is cristan i love putting carrots potatos and whole garlic but cut yur garlic small use baby or whole carrots cut in half then slice long ways same with potaos even better in a bakeing bag with 4 or 5 cups of water try it its great put it in the oven at 9am take out 4pm let stand for a few minutec to cool off tare open drain juice put brisket what ever of yur choice on o surving plate slice into strips and put veggies in surving bowl yur done with rolls or home made baked bread with butterWww@FoodAQ@Com
