Question: Im making a tuna pasta bake and wanted to add sweetcorn in it!?
When do i add the tuna and sweetcorn!? Ive looked at a couple of recipies, one says to add the tuna and sweetcorn at the beggining, the other says add after baking for 20 mins!? Ive always added the tuna from the beggining but i have never used sweetcorn yet!. CheersWww@FoodAQ@Com

add it all together!.!. in the beginning because once it has been in the oven the flavors are already marrying!.!. i make mine with frozen peas and always add everything in the beginning!.!.and i think sweetcorn would be great in it!.!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Tuna & Vegetable Pasta Bake

200°C pre-heated oven

Ingredients
1 tbs oil
1 onion, finely chopped
1 x 420g can Campbell’s Condensed Cream of Celery Soup
1 ? cups milk
1 cup frozen peas and corn, thawed
425g can tuna in springwater, drained, flaked
250g dried shell pasta, cooked, drained
1 cup grated tasty cheese

Method
Preheat oven 200°C!. Lightly grease an 8-cup(2L) capacity ovenproof dish!.
Heat oil in a large frying pan over medium heat!. Add onion and cook, stirring occasionally, for 5 minutes or until onion is soft!.
In a large bowl gradually whisk together milk and soup until combined!. Stir in onion, vegetables, tuna and pasta then place into prepared ovenproof dish!.
Sprinkle with cheese and bake for 20 minutes or until golden brown!.
Serve with your favourite steamed vegetables or a fresh green salad!.

it depends on how long you're baking the dish for!. i think it's safe to add it in the beginning-- just keep in mind that the corn will add a but of water, and will probably release quite a bit of that water while it cooks!. so, if the recipe calls for any water, you might want to cut it back a bit, depending on how much corn you want to add!. come to think of it!.!.!. adding the corn closer to the end might help prevent the dish from getting too watery!.
